02/04/2024: An absolute blast! The food is excellent, the service is very nice and friendly. Everything was prepared quickly even though the restaurant was full. I will definitely visit here again if I go to Genoa again.

06/04/2024: We had lunch at this lovely restaurant for lunch this Saturday. The location is great, although the location is a bit far from the seafront. The food is excellent and very well presented. Too bad the service was very unsuitable and professional for the standards of the place. The waiters are hasty and pay little attention to expressing themselves in front of customers, openly mocking customers who are unaware of this behavior. It's a shame because the experience would otherwise have been excellent

Abundant, quality aperitifs and food
09/03/2024: I hadn't been to this place for about 10 years because I always thought it was poor. In 2024, convinced by a friend, I returned.
I must say that now not only is it poor but, having eliminated the buffet, it is also expensive for the quality received. The selection of beers is embarrassing (ceres, tennents, Bud, becks, corona... except for the ichnusa), the food during the aperitif is really poor. The pasta was overcooked, the fried foods were dramatic but the thing that struck me most were the sandwiches with smelly ham. You could smell it on the plate.
The cheese focaccia, however, was quite good. The desserts looked better, perhaps the place is better as a bar.
Confused environment with lots of kids (they probably carry on the shack using it as a meeting place, good for them).
Cost of an aperitif 12 euros without the buffet, too much for the quality offered. However, the quantity is sufficient

04/04/2024: Staying at the Continetal hotel I used the restaurant for lunch and dinner twice.
Absolutely satisfied.
Fast service, waiter who acts as a very capable meter.
Good food, there are the classic choices of the region.
They even made me a dish off the menu without any problems. Much appreciated.
Average prices
A whole farinata €13.00.
Sliced beef €20.00 (perhaps a little small)
Seafood pasta €16.00 (large portions)
Being in an absolutely central position there is no parking.

02/04/2024: Truly wonderful location, intimate and relaxed atmosphere in the heart of Genoa.
A stone's throw from Piazza de Ferrari, we were welcomed with the utmost kindness by the staff, very young and impeccable.
The food was excellent, in the photo you can see an excellent pistachio crusted sea bream fillet.
There is also the possibility (upon reservation) to have dinner in an ancient well, with a table for two which I will book sooner or later!
Prices appropriate to the offer; we will definitely be back!

Table that remembers the president Sandro Pertini who loved this restaurant and "a piece of history. 05/11/2023: Our experience was terrible and cost us days of recovery. We had lunch at sidewalk tables on October 10th. Milanese cotoletta fried in expired oil, pulp with tasteless patate and rubbery texture; but the worst was the taglierini gamberi with dodgy loose shrimp heads. Horrible. I regret not returning the dishes.
