07/04/2024: Great experience! Very suggestive place in the center of the village. Very good traditional dishes, wine (the local gutturnio) drunk in bowls rather than glasses. Friendly and kind staff.

31/03/2024: We went for lunch on Easter Sunday. Very good starters and in the right quantity, very good first and second courses. The colomba with mascarpone cream is excellent. What can we say about Angelo's availability. Definitely worth returning.

Obviously manual entry of the price on the receipt with a generic "€8 pastry shop". They practically look you in the face and have to fleece you. There are other reviews from people who have always paid €8 for two herbal teas or other small drinks. Being dishonest is worse than doing bad work. I would appreciate a response from the owner to justify the cost

11/03/2024: Scandalized! Pastries at 35 euros per kg of dubious quality! 20 pastries 45 euros is not only exaggerated in price but beyond any sales logic. And it's not about the price of raw materials or even about wars or crises. In general the NOT DISPLAYED prices are absurd and out of market. Never again!

07/02/2024: Pleasant. In the morning the place fills with people. Excellent cappuccinos and coffee. I stop often. The waiters serve at the table and are very kind.

18/11/2023: We spent a weekend in Piacenza, we were impressed by the Duomo, the Civic Museum and Piazza Cavalli, which was beautiful. But we must also mention the café in Via Chiapponi, a truly unique place. We enjoyed some really good lasagna with pumpkin and Zola and some tarts with mozzarella and ham, very crumbly. Excellent service

13/03/2024: long wait and rudeness due to a rude and listless waitress. It took me more than 20 minutes to receive attention and when she showed up with the order the glasses were rudely thrown onto the table.

12/03/2024: The square makes everything more beautiful, the service is friendly and ready to meet your needs. An excellent location for an aperitif.

20/02/2024: I am writing the review after having tasted all the types of meat purchased in the last order. The only steak worth mentioning is the Rubia Gallega, not very tender but with a good taste, while the others are anonymous. The +6 marbling is perhaps a +2 and was tough and with very little fat both internally and externally, brown heifer and Angus de la finca 6/10, red heifer just enough. 3 steaks had lost their vacuum and unlike the other promotions with free steak (where the free gift was around 1kg), this time I received a 4hg slice. Personally I won't buy again.

20/02/2024: Excellent bar, very clean, I have breakfast when I can, very kind and knowledgeable staff, excellent wholemeal croissants... good coffee, almost like ours in Sicily. Compliments.

13/08/2023: Rude and unpleasant staff, prices too high, obsolete and poorly maintained place. The bartender did not comply with the request made, Edit: i.e. put a slice of lemon IN THE WATER. And in any case we are not minors and in any case when I was you gave us alcohol :)
