08/05/2026: Lovely spot at the grande marina; worth the walk down and back up again. I choose the pasta of the day: handmade crab ravioli. I think it was the best and most interesting ravioli I have ever had; 5 stars!
06/05/2026: What a wonderful place. 7 night stay in Marina Grande and we ate here 3 times. Great food, beautifully prepared fish dishes. Crab ravioli, sea bass au gratin. Red snapper, and the fried fish fish, just too much to eat. Staff were top of the game. Not over priced. The setting watching the sun go down is just wonderful. And a big shout out to Nina who really did look after us. If I say 97 then hopefully she will remember us. Ice cold Limoncello to finish, simply the best. Don't walk past, you will miss an absolute gem

02/06/2026: there's a AMAZING skyline rooftop bar on the fourth floor, beautiful view for the sunset, strongly recommend. Food is also very good and tasty.

The welcome was warm and professional; we immediately felt at home. The room was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly equipped, with truly appreciated attention to detail.
The rooftop is simply incredible: a magnificent view, an exceptional atmosphere, and the perfect place to fully enjoy your stay.
Everything was in place for an unforgettable experience. A huge thank you to the entire team for this superb experience; we will definitely be back!
20/05/2026: Went for a drink at the rooftop-bar. My drink was excellent, the service attentive, professional, friendly. Atmosphere relaxed. Views across the rooftops overlooking the sea: breathtaking. When in Sorrento, stop by for a drink, or two, or more ;)

17/06/2026: I came here in the morning because it was hot while waiting for the ferry. The shaded outdoor seating has a nice atmosphere, and best of all, the pistachio croissant is seriously, unbelievably delicious. You absolutely have to try this. It wasn't on display, so I asked and they told me to wait just two minutes, and I received a warm one that had just been made. Good good.
16/06/2026: Shared a beautiful sea bass with my husband. The service was exceptional. I got to have my favourite wine Lackyma Chriti( Tears of Christ).

07/06/2026: The food was delicious, we will definitely come back. The selection of dishes was large and typically Italian. There was always a seat available – both outside the restaurant, inside, and on the terrace. The food arrived quickly. The staff was approachable and accommodating, answering our questions and fulfilling our requests.

23/05/2026: We went to dinner last night for a friend's birthday. The location is beautiful and very welcoming, but that's all I remember.
The service left much to be desired; the waiters were exhausted, annoyed, and confused. They shouted and argued among themselves, knowing they wouldn't be understood since it's a place frequented by many tourists.
We ordered an appetizer of fried, exclusive frozen items that they didn't even bother to defrost properly.
Followed by three first courses: the classic gnocco alla sorrentina, oh my god, terrible!!
The paccheri alla genovese and the lasagna were at least passable.
Perhaps our mistake was choosing a place that was too touristy for dinner, but we realized that right away.
22/05/2026: I'm sure the food is good, but we couldn't get a reservation, and when we asked if we could enter while waiting in line, we were almost kicked out. The woman in charge inside was incredibly rude and very angry. It was a disgrace. Saying "you can't enter" would have been enough.

16/05/2026: If you have patience - it will be your best place to eat in Sorrento!! We came when it was busy so the service looked a little slow, BUT IT TOTALLY WORTH IT! The food was outstanding and I know what I’m talking about (lived in Italy for 10 years)
We took pasta with seafood, grilled fish and grilled veggies with insalata - everything was good, my husband even had to do scarpetta (it’s Italian trend to eat all the sauce from pasta with bread)
10/05/2026: Is it normal to find a still-frozen clam inside a seafood scialatiello?
A typical place that manages to survive and stay afloat only because the choice in Sorrento is limited to restaurants where a plate of pasta costs 20-25 euros, or places like this where the quality is drastically reduced to make room for corporate margins.
Not to mention the spaghetti with clams. It was basically spaghetti all'acqua with 7-8 clams and had no flavor or personality whatsoever.
How sad these places are, insulting Italian cuisine and making the tourist experience completely forgettable.

20/07/2025: Siamo stati al Ristorante Da Filippo in occasione di una cena. Posto leggermente affollato ma personale efficiente nei tempi di attesa. Abbiamo ordinato un primo piatto, due tagliate di carne e un dolce. Prezzi modici per la qualità del posto e del cibo, inoltre le porzioni erano adeguate ne abbondanti né insufficienti. Che dir si voglia, ma non che non abbia rispettato le nostre aspettative.
Citando un noto poeta: “fu tzoppu beddu stu manciari sangò”.

15/08/2024: Inizialmente si chiamava Antico Frantoio, poi Vino vero, poi di nuovo Antico Frantoio, oggi sembri che continui a chiamarsi Antico Frantoio pur avendo cambiato gestione a fine 2023, dei sapori antichi purtroppo non c’è più nulla. Personale gentilissimo, qualità scarsa, prezzi nella media, ma eccessivi in relazione al prodotto offerto.

08/04/2025: Gran recomendación y obviamente utilizado por los lugareños, así como los turistas. Gran elección y helados muy deliciosos tan débiles como otras opciones como gofres.
