22/08/2024: Beautiful place, we were lucky enough to be able to sit near the sea and the atmosphere was magical.
The food was excellent and fresh and the staff were very kind and ready to satisfy every request, they also offered us a delicious limoncello.
I highly recommend it.

Dining at Donna Sofia in Sorrento was an exceptional experience. The food was delicious and authentically Italian, showcasing rich, traditional flavors. The service stood out, with the owner, head waiter and chefs personally greeting us and giving us a tour of their impressive wine cellar.
The restaurant was adorned with charming photos of Sofia Loren, adding a delightful touch to the atmosphere. The owner and his wife were incredibly friendly, even offering us a complimentary $40 bottle of red wine upon our departure. We concluded our meal with their famous granita and limoncello shots, making for a perfect ending. I highly recommend Donna Sofia for anyone seeking a genuine Italian dining experience in Sorrento! Best wishes to the owners and will be definitely returning for another meal ..best regards Novi and Anita from Wollongong Australia (south of Sydney)

29/08/2024: Very nice place not far from the center. The food was very good, we had two fish first courses and a mixed fry, all excellent. The only flaw was a misunderstanding with the staff which almost led us to get up and leave....
28/08/2024: Really nice food and very reasonably priced for somewhere so near to the centre of sorrento but service was a bit hit and miss on our visits with forgotten drink orders and cutlery. Maybe it was trainee day. My steak was delicious just a shame about the service

20/07/2024: Terrible customer service, a glass of coffee exploded over me on arrival to the table, I had my clothes cleaned at the hotel we are staying at & gave the bill to the owner, who was very unhelpful & rude, refused to refund it because he could have washed the clothes cheaper but never offered this as the time of the incident
17/07/2024: Located close to the station, a friendly cafe offering an extensive array of ice creams and sorbets.
Nothing to fault and worthy of a top rating.

02/09/2024: Terrible experience. Starter was a fried cheese number that looked like it’d been deep fried in a chippy. Group of people at the entrance counting the takings from the evening. Scam! Don’t buy into the social media hype. Avoid and try many of the other lovely restaurants in the area.

We went there with a group of 8, including well trained kids, and it was really marvelous to enjoy each other's company and have dinner in one of the most stunning restaurants we visited.
Food and wine are great, just as the service. But this restaurant offers such a unique atmosphere... Every corner you look at is photo worthy.

22/09/2023: Io che amo le Osterie di una volta: tovaglie a quadri, con i tovaglioli coordinati, piatti di ceramica candida e il liquore a fine pasto servito in bottiglie di fortuna e lasciato sul tavolo nella speranza che il consumatore sia morigerato...qui regnano solo l'ombra e gli arredi, i gingilli, le vetrinette, le bomboniere e i fiori di plastica...
Gli antipasti, il secondo di pesce ed i contorni serviti hanno perso l'anima e sono lontanissimi dalla qualità e quantità dei tempi che furono.
Facit: Tornate al vero passato o passate al "fresco" attuale.
04/08/2023: opzich lekker gegeten. helaas toen we naar een wijnkaart vroegen bleek die niet aanwezig maar werd ons wel een wijn aangeraden. bij het betalen bleek die fles duurder dan beide hoofdgerechten bij elkaar. voelt toch als opgelicht worden.
weer wat geleerd.
