05/08/2024: Alla ricerca di un posto diverso e di qualcosa di diverso da provare ci siamo diretti al Cosmopolitan. Come molti posti a Napoli e provincia, non accetta prenotazioni. Coda veloce per fortuna. Scelta la formula all you can eat susci + messicano, proprio con l'idea di provare questa fusion. Trattandosi di formula "all you can eat" non ci aspettiamo certo piatti ricercati o materia prima di elevata qualità ma quantomeno bocconi golosi e qualcosa che ci possa invogliare a tornare per provare altro. Purtroppo tutto e di qualità molto scarsa. Sia nella scelta della materia che nella preparazione c'è mediocrità. I fagottini fritti arrivano già duri ed insapori, meglio i bocconcini di formaggio sia normali che piccanti. Fagioli alla messicana mangiabili, tacos da rivedere assolutamente. La varietà con carne macinata + vagamente accettabile, quella con il maiale presenta cialde con insalata ed una quantità minuscola di farcitura, secche ed insipide. Burritos da evitare assolutamente. Dopo due morsi risulta difficile continuare a mangiarli vista la sproporzione tra pasta e farcitura e l'untuosità della stessa. Per tutti i preparati con carne, dai tacos, ai burritos al condimento dei nachos, si utilizza lo stesso preparato di carne speziata. La varietà è poca ed i sapori si ripetono. Provati anche i piatti di "sushi messicano" che risultano la cosa migliore del pacchetto, pur non brillando per varietà. Spesa pro capite 40€ a testa tra menù, acqua e sangria (previsto spillatore ma arrivate 3 caraffe separate). Presente anche un menù "aperimex" diverso e piatti alla carta. Delusione per un posto che potrebbe rappresentare quel "porto particolare" che ti invoglia tornarci per provare qualcos'altro e/o portarci gli amici. Le molte sponsorizzate portano tante persone che, come noi, si fanno attirare da quella che potrebbe essere una simpatica e saporita fusion. Illusorio e di scarsa qualità.

25/08/2024: Gelato was very tasty. But the lady who was preparing gelatos to customer was extremely rude. I don't know what her problem was. We just ordered gelatos and she was giving us attitude for no reason. She should not work here. She will give this place bad reviews. On the other hand, casher was really friendly.

21/08/2024: I bought two lemon peel sorbettos from them. They didn't give them to us from the refrigerated showcase where they were displayed, but from somewhere under the counter. It costs €9 a piece "to go" or €12 if we wanted to sit at the table. I ate them standing up. When I finished eating, my husband noticed that I had less sorbetto, because the inside of the lemon had not been cleaned properly. Rather curious about their reaction, I went back and showed them the empty lemon, I asked them to fill it with sorbetto. They refused, they told me that all lemons are the same. Of course it is not true and it is obvious that some are bigger and others smaller. My lemon was also small and had not been well cleaned inside. When I saw that they were stubborn, only then did they upset me and I asked to speak to the boss. The guy asked said that he is the boss, he was just clearing a table 😀. I repeated for him what I had told the saleswoman and asked her to put a supplement on me. He didn't want to either. Then I challenged him to an experiment, to measure the volumes of two lemons emptied of their contents. One of mine, the other from the table he was clearing. I opened a bottle from which all the water had not been consumed and filled the lemon from which I had eaten, then I poured my lemon into the one on the table. Of course, the latter was not filled, the difference being the thickness of a finger. The "boss" "explained" to me that the difference comes from the two drops I spilled when I poured from one lemon to another. 🙃 A real boss would have said that maybe my lemon had a bigger "nut", I couldn't verify that anymore 🤪 My husband was proud of how spontaneously I came up with the idea of ​​the experiment. We still felt robbed and mocked. I gave the two stars for the taste of the sorbet.

21/07/2024: Terras zag er uitnodigend uit vlak naast het castel dell ovo. De baas van het restaurant was zo ongelofelijk onvriendelijk en de ober was arrogant! Ook het eten was slechts middelmatig. Dont go!

23/08/2024: I went in the evening to have a light dinner. An awful pizza is an understatement and the dark-haired young lady demonstrated a clear lack of courtesy, dropping the change on the table when I settled the bill and exclaiming some swear words in dialect. I don't recommend it to anyone, it totally failed, the place is only saved by the view of Amalfi

23/08/2024: We went at night to have a drink and the views were spectacular. The prices are not expensive, we paid €9 for a gin and tonic and €7 for a generous glass of good wine, with something to snack on. The attention was good

03/08/2024: Sympathy is not the strong point of this place, especially the brunette...stupid! Also, expensive.

14/05/2024: Pizza regular, not so good and have to clean my own table (now body do it) but reparto or coperto was €8 ???? Really??? Don’t go if you are tourist

14/07/2024: painful bar with indecent rules I went there to sit during the summer and the disgusting rule is that if you sit down you can't take a bottle of water forcing us to take drinks. the owner a pig with iqos in his mouth. girls (waiters) more obnoxious than Draco from Harry Potter. I hope the bar explodes as soon as possible, a bit like the owner of the bar himself.

31/01/2024: VERY FRIENDLY SERVICE ! Saturday, Sept 23rd was our last full day ion our 4 day vacation in Salerno. NEW STUFF ! My wife and I love trying new places and found this espresso bar on Corso Vittorio Emanuele...the huge pedestrian mall which runs through downtown Salerno. It was around 11am and we felt like cappuccinos plus a sweet snack so we popped inside. A friendly guy named Simone behind the counter greeted us in a welcoming manner. We ordered 2 x Double Shot Cappuccinos at the bar and selected a cute looking Chocolate Covered Dessert from their huge pastry selection. A barista named Celeste made our rich tasting double shot cappuccinos....trust me they were rich tasting in their little 8 oz cups which was pretty much the norm in Italy. I went to use the bathroom and there was no toilet paper.....we are in bidet country. Celeste kindly fetched me a roll of toilet paper. The little chocolate dessert tasted fine...nothing exceptional. Simone was telling me they serve dinner in the evenings...I did see the large dining room out the back. A GOOD COFFEE SPOT !

04/08/2024: At the checkout they make a mistake with the change. If you give the ten, you may receive the remainder of 5. Be careful. Human error happens but it is 8.30 in the morning at the start of the shift and not 11.00 in the evening. Bar clearly very busy, difficult to move between departures. Terrible croissants, with practically white (and not yellow) custard, but paid like a good quality one. Staff at the counter who do not speak/understand Italian perfectly.

31/07/2024: What can I say about this bar, a family welcome, I have known the owners for a long time and now they make me feel at home every time I am there. Always on top of all the new things that come out.

21/05/2024: We passed by this bar by chance and decided to have a spritz. They brought us 2 tiny packets of crisps and 2 spritzes which I must admit weren't bad either but when it comes to the bill they ask us €14 which seems a bit exaggerated to me. We kindly pointed it out to the owner who however justified himself by saying that these are the prices, it's a shame that there wasn't a price list and honestly I'm Italian and I didn't like being ripped off like that. I hope that this review of mine makes people think next customers BE CAREFUL
