29/12/2024: I'm giving one star because you can't help but leave a review on Google, but this place deserves very little due to the rudeness of the managers who don't even greet you and seem to even bother them, and above all the bad faith in inflating the accounts by thinking that we were tourists. This morning, for two simple croissants and two cappuccinos, they asked us €8: a real steal! Never spent a similar amount, not even in the main square in Sorrento. I think they mistook me for a tourist, given my Genoese accent, and tried to "rip me off" but I've been coming regularly to Herculaneum for about ten years with my in-laws and I know the prices well... But this doesn't enhance tourism, on the contrary, it does a disservice to Herculaneum, which instead is a beautiful town with welcoming people and extraordinary archaeological excavations. Avoid this place: it is a terrible example for the city.

12/01/2025: Small bar with the sign of the well-known coffee which unfortunately due to the logistical situation is not very usable. The environment inside is very small, the gazebo located outside the room, on the pavement in front is closed with transparent plastic sheets, but it cannot guarantee excellent waterproofing during rainy days. Customers, rudely and in defiance of smoking regulations, smoke undisturbed. The bar staff is convinced that they can do it, forgetting that the structure is considered a closed environment since it is made with plastic sheets and a blanket. At the checkout the person concerned speaks with the customers with the music behind her at full volume, thus not allowing a perfect discussion regarding the orders. The prices are outside the local average and in my opinion too expensive and not justifiable by the terrible service offered and the quality of the products.

11/03/2025: We had a pizza marguerite and a sandwich for lunch. 7€ for a coke and 6 € for water. Over-prized, it doesn’t worth it. They won the price for the worst pizza in Italy

09/03/2025: We love coming in the off season because the crowds are down, and this was one of the places open for lunch and we actually enjoyed it. We ordered lunch, bruscetta, and parma and melon. Everything tasted good and the service was prompt. The atmosphere was nice, covered on a cooler rainy day. The highlight was the lemon sorbets, so delicious and even on a cool early spring day it made us all happy!

08/01/2025: ENGLISH This is a scam alert for all tourists! I'm Neapolitan, and I'll never stop at this place again. I advise you to stay away from this bar. Everything is overpriced, a cheap place charging Michelin-star prices. I ordered two small plastic bottles of water and paid 5 euros. Receipt photo attached. P.S. They changed the name of the bar (probably for the numerous negative reviews) but I recognized the bar from street view. ITALIAN This is a scam warning for all tourists! 26/10/2024: it didn't seem to me that behind my back this very overweight or obese waitress KICKED MY DOG for no reason when I was standing at the door explaining the order because there was a misunderstanding. an old dog, peaceful towards everything. overweight waitress - if you are reading this and if this is how you relieve stress on weaker people, I wish you would be hit by someone stronger than you, e.g. a man. while the bespectacled waitress (also obese) from the restaurant next door seemed to support this aggression. the staff fell from a palm tree with bananas.

07/03/2025: Aunque un poco fuera de los caminos trillados, incluyendo unos pocos tramos de escaleras, este restaurante era fantástico. En nuestros viajes por Napoli, Sorrento y la costa de Amalfi, nos pusimos como punto de partida para probar gran parte de la pizza Margarita que la región tiene para ofrecer. Pensé que Meme’ era el mejor. La pizza tenía la mezcla perfecta de riqueza, pero con un poco de crujiente a la corteza, cumplidos del horno de leña, que yo como nativo del área de Nueva York aprecio. Terminamos con un tiramisú delicioso.

07/11/2024: We stopped by Cafe Caso for some gelato and coffee. The gelato was a bit too sweet for my taste—possibly a personal preference, but worth noting. The coffee was fine, though nothing particularly memorable. Prices were on the higher side, which is expected in Capri, but it didn’t quite match the quality we hoped for.
