17/08/2026: We wanted to order a crepe and three glasses of wine, one of which was red.
The place is also a creperie, but strangely, they don't serve it.
There was a bottle of red wine but no opening device, while the white wine was pure vinegar, undrinkable.
There was zero organization, and the bathroom was inaccessible, super dirty, and smelly.
The only positive note was the sea, which was wonderful!
Bottom line: not recommended; avoid if you can!
13/08/2026: A trap for unsuspecting tourists. Beware of the prices that are deliberately raised in the summer. I even asked locals to confirm the price of individual products (e.g., croissants): they usually have a certain price for locals throughout the year, but magically, in the summer, they increase.
But fortunately, we're not stupid. So, NEVER AGAIN!

18/07/2026: Extremely high bill, terrible service... We ordered 3 simple gin and tonics and received a receipt for 55 euros, with other things we hadn't ordered inside, and with 3 x gin mare capri (15 euros each) not ordered and certainly not served, it was another gin... All this in Rende... As if we had been to Capri... Be wary...
12/07/2026: Since it's summer, I wanted ice cream, but unfortunately they only served me a mediocre imitation. Truly awful: powdery, tasteless ice, not creamy at all. Order a cocktail, which might just be better.

06/06/2026: The owner was very kind, and above all, it was the only beach club open after walking about half an hour along the Paola seafront on the last weekend of May.

08/07/2026: It's a real shame: the bar is very central, in front of the station, and the products are high-quality. But the rest is terrible. Don't be fooled by the old positive reviews; today the reality is different.
The prices for coffee and ice cream are way too high, and the service is embarrassing, with clear bias between first-class and second-class customers. The main problem remains the rudeness of the owner, always rude and disrespectful, something everyone in town knows by now. A different business card would be needed in front of the station. Not recommended.

02/01/2025: Impossibile continuare ad andare. Una pasta 3,00 €. Non si vedono i prezzi perciò mi sono fatta incartare 3 paste,in cassa ho pagato 9,00 €. Non sarà più possibile comprare il tradizionale vassoio della domenica. Ma dove siamo arrivati? E la qualità non è il massimo...

01/07/2025: Siamo stati ieri sera a mangiare una granita, a parte la sgarbatezza del proprietario in quanto a una nostra richiesta la sua risposta è stata acida come i dessert che abbiamo bevuto. Per non parlare del prezzo esagerato... sconsiglio vivamente!!
22/06/2025: Dov'è finita la tradizionale ospitalità calabrese..? Praticamente invitati a consumare all'aperto, sotto il sole di giugno perché gli ombrelloni erano chiusi... Senza parole

04/07/2025: Este fue un gran lugar para una cena informal en una noche cálida. Las pizzas y las ensaladas eran geniales, al igual que los antipasti. Estaba buscando una pizza específica que no estaba en el menú y me la hicieron al momento.

07/07/2025: Abbiamo appena finito di mangiare 7 panini deliziosi.
Qualità ottima, servizio veloce ma soprattutto il ragazzo che ci ha serviti gentilissimo e disponibile.
Consiglio questo posto a chiunque si trovi a Praia a mare perché davvero panini come i loro si mangiano raramente.
ECCEZIONALE!!!
01/05/2025: Sono stato a Praia a mare il ponte 25 aprile e posso assicurarvi che ho mangiato il miglior cornetto di sempre, sfogliato, caramellato morbido dentro e crunch incredibile fuori, sublime, bravi bravi bravi
