24/05/2025: Abbiamo mangiato all'aperto, angolino delizioso e piatti tipici, tutto molto buono. Servizio impeccabile e silenzioso, peccato...credevo ci fosse più vista da seduti...ma basta affacciarsi che la splendida Matera appare in tutta la sua bellezza.

03/10/2025: Very good Italian snacks, delicious coffee. We really enjoyed a great meal of delicious Italian products and drank delicious Italian coffee for a small price. :) I highly recommend it. It's in the center of Matera, where you can really find something delicious to eat and relax while sightseeing. Great service!

01/10/2025: We had some lunch here and it topped all of our expectations!!
The food was amazing and the vibe was just perfect (They also have the famous matera bread which is a must try when you are here).
The guy that helped us was really nice and helpful in every way he could, he was even teaching us some fun facts about cork screws :).
The view of this place is unmatched and it goes hand in hand with the relaxed vibe that the place holds. When we were eating here it really felt like time stopped.
After a bit the cat of the owner came to say hello to us and ended up sitting in my lap🥰 such an adorable fur ball (i called it giuseppe).
Would give it 10 stars if i could! Highly recommended!
17/08/2025: Love this historic place that is owned by locals! The food was delicious and drinks were cold. Antonio is genuine and personable. Serving up fresh food and family history. It's a great stop for a snack or lunch

11/06/2025: Bel emplacement et jolie vue pour ce restaurant dont l’accueil est souriant et efficace. Hélas, la cuisine est décevante, entrées peu goûteuses, poissons trop cuits, avec purée de pois froide . Nous n’avons pas aimé nos plats.

30/09/2025: Typical coffee shop geared toward tourists. High prices, poor service. The espresso is okay, but expensive.
16/09/2025: I wanted to have Ristretto, which I have not been able to find in menu in most of cafes in my trip. I asked the staff and he explained us different coffees and nuances among them. Lovely chat and experience. Definitely recommend this cafe around the Duomo Piazza area

09/10/2025: The food was very poor and the prices were unjustified. Sandwiches were basically just bread, but they cost €7-8.
26/09/2025: The staff was disorganized and unaccommodating. We waited forever...then we had to serve ourselves.
Paid €15 for three coffees and three industrial-strength pastries.
Amazing place, but it leaves a lot to be desired.

14/10/2025: The opening hours are fake. Arrived 10am and not opening tho the sign said it’s open
13/09/2025: After we'd consumed four bottles of wine, a man simply announced he was closing and rudely removed our glasses and chairs, telling us we should leave because he wanted to close.
All the other places were open.
He's truly rude.
I recommend you try somewhere else.

22/05/2025: Preciosa ubicación, servicio descuidado.
Paramos aquí para almorzar porque la ubicación parecía increíble hermosos jardines. Aunque había lo que pensamos que era una mesa vacía en la parte del jardín nos ofrecieron uno cerca de la entrada.
Pedimos dos platos que llegaron después de tal vez 20 minutos por algunos, obviamente personal no interesado La comida era muy ordinaria y poco calentado. Tuvimos que llamar la atención de alguien después de 5 minutos para obtener condimentos adicionales.
Ciertamente no en algún lugar que estaríamos corriendo de vuelta a visitar de nuevo.

22/09/2024: Mi esposa y yo paramos aquí por un helado. Está situado justo a la izquierda de la plaza principal y un corto Wal colina arriba. Cuando entramos en el local nos dimos cuenta de que tienes que elegir tu cono, luego seleccionar tus helados y salsas por ti mismo. Vierte la tuya, añade nueces, etc. y el tipo de la caja lo pesa. Pagas por peso, así que ten tan poco o tanto como quieras. Pagamos y luego nos sentamos afuera y nos calmamos. Encantador.

24/04/2025: Cena eccellente e ottima ospitalità da parte della signora che gestisce il locale. Siamo venuti in camper a Matera e il locale ci è stato consigliato dai gestori dell'area sosta camper sulla SS7 subito fuori Matera. Molto suggestiva anche la location, all'interno di un sasso. Lo consigliamo.

06/05/2025: Prima o dopo la visita nei sassi, un passaggio nei bar della piazza è pressoché obbligato. E' uno dei tanti bar presenti, non il migliore, nemmeno il peggiore, coi prezzi un tantino alti ed un servizio abbastanza superficiale.
