05/08/2026: A Perfect Mountain Sanctuary Above the City We spent 4 wonderful nights at Gasthof Kohlern, and it was the ultimate "getaway from it all" vacation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome with their warm, attentive service. The owners themselves went above and beyond, providing fantastic advice whenever we needed recommendations for local walking trails or choosing the right regional wine. Our room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and offered panoramic views of both the majestic surrounding mountains and the city below. The hotel is wonderfully well-equipped, and spending time in the spa area was a highlight, so peaceful and relaxing after a day of exploring. If you’re looking for a pristine, scenic base to unwind, recharge, and enjoy wonderful hospitality, Gasthof Kohlern is unbeatable. We can't wait to return!
