A big thank you for accepting our quadrupeds....Francesca and Manfred wonderful people, always available with a smile. ​The staff was also very friendly, the rooms were OK, large, clean, nothing was missing, new ski storage installed the day before. Great breakfast, a great show, excellent special dinner. ​Wifi ok, parking on site ​OK Wellness relaxation area here too, nothing to say, everything is perfect. ​Thanks again for everything, and I hope to come back again for a slob.

It is also about paying attention to nature and respecting the environment, e.g. the traditions in the region. It is also about letting the guests participate in it by introducing them carefully, without the need for rules. That is an art these days. This is crowned by a lavishly laid table, without waste and excess, but with the special composition of the dishes and the selection of ingredients. You will find all of this at the Gasthof Kohlern. Authenticity among the people who work there. Respectful interaction, lightness and relaxedness as a natural coexistence - guest and host. Exciting stories, integrated into nature. You don't want to leave there and yet it may be precisely the leaving that makes you look forward to the specialness of coming back. And every year there is something new to discover, selected with great care and love. Thank you for being there, dear Gasthof Kohlern team.

13/01/2025: The hotel to relax and recharge your batteries. Josef and his crew are really special. The last time we were there was 10 years ago. Now it worked again and we booked a room including half board over the Christmas period (December 23rd - December 26th, 2024). I summarize the hotel services as follows: 1. Hotel The house has a 125-year-old history. Josef spared no expense or effort to modernize everything. A living room with an adjoining open fireplace (wonderful), a restaurant with a panoramic view of the mountains high above Bolzano, a top wellness department... The infinity pool and hot tub (open despite the cold and it was a show to be in there) A wine cellar, a seminar room (all very, very tastefully designed) 2. Massages A "must", the relaxing massage was a dream 3. Food & Service The absolutely highly professional kitchen surprised us every day with first-class dishes. We enjoyed every dish in the multi-stage episodes. The 4-6 courses were an explosion of enjoyment. It's really amazing what the kitchen does and the quality of the food that comes to the table. All, but absolutely all, of the service staff were professional, quick and absolutely friendly. Here I felt that the crew was behind Josef's concept. So it's really fun to be a guest 3rd room We had room number 6 on the 1st floor An ideal room for us with a balcony and the view over Bolzano was brilliant The cleaning was simply perfect... and we and our dog 🐶 "Oskar" felt really comfortable. Conclusion: The house was already great 10 years ago. Today Josef and his team have once again made a leap forward in terms of quality. I am personally pleased that there are still such first-class hotels with top-class cuisine and service. Celebrating Christmas with singing in the in-house chapel was something very special for us. We just say 'thank you' for this great time. This house made our Christmas 2024 perfect. We'll definitely be back💪

03/02/2025: Eravamo sperduti in un hotel vicino, base per riprendere il viaggio verso l'hotel di destinazione, cercando un pò ci siamo imbattuti nell'Adler e cosi abbiamo prenotato. Stile ovviamente sudtirolese, personale giovane ed efficiente; il menù aveva diverse proposte tipiche interessanti ma noi, da bravi provincialotti, ci siamo dedicati alla scelta della pizza. Pizze che sono fuori dal comune, buone, anche se obiettivamente un po' care.

17/02/2025: It's worth taking a detour to this gem. The 3* hotel pampers its guests to their complete satisfaction! My husband is a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs Baillage StGall. We can only praise the excellent cuisine! The price-performance ratio is excellent! Where can you get a room with breakfast and a 5-course menu at gourmet level for currently €88? The owners, the Gallia couple, work up to 18 hours a day with a smile on their faces. We'll definitely come back!!!

04/12/2024: The location of the restaurant is really impressive - you have a beautiful view of the valley floor and can enjoy the view. As soon as you enter you are warmly greeted by the boss, with a personal handshake and a few friendly words. You immediately feel welcome and are assigned a nice table. The menu is small but fine, with a selection of regional products and a wide range of wines. The boss takes the time to explain the dishes in detail and also recommends the right wine - a wonderful addition, especially since the restaurant has its own winery with first-class wines. The starter was excellent: light, perfectly seasoned and, in combination with the side dishes, not only a visual but also a culinary delight. The main course, especially the meat, was subtly seasoned and harmonious. Finally, I couldn't resist and tried the homemade plum ice cream with a delicious chocolate cake - a real highlight! I can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.

11/01/2025: Tenía grandes expectativas cuando reservé la mesa en este restaurante, 350 euros de tasa de cancelación tiene que ser ganado. Empezamos con unas copas y me dieron la Mula de Moscú menos saliente que he tenido en mi vida, plana, acuosa y simplemente no está a la altura. Pedimos el Black Cod y el Risotto como entrantes, ambos no impresionaron, el Bacalao era demasiado salado y el Risotto estaba bien. Luego la especialidad de este restaurante, la carne de res alpina, nos fuimos por el Tomahawk 1. 8 kg y tristemente 1/3 del filete era grasa masticable que la mayoría de nosotros no podíamos comer. Personalmente me gustó la carne, pero la experiencia fue que nos estaban sirviendo por debajo del filete estándar, especialmente si lo comparas con otros restaurantes de alta gama en la zona. Los desiertos eran todos excelentes y el servicio era genial. En general una gran decepción y no vale la pena el precio que pagamos.

26/01/2025: Let me start by saying that I stayed at the Garnì Villa Fontana and we had a great time, top welcome. Today at check out we asked to leave our bags at Everest and then leave in the afternoon. There is no real storage room, more a room where you can leave your luggage. The receptionist kindly accompanied me and stayed until I left so I believed, although it was clear that it was not guarded, that there was a minimum of attention paid to it. Unfortunately, when we were picking up our bags, we noticed that someone had actually looked through our things and stolen a pair of high-value Sony wireless headphones. We communicated it but the situation was so clear that we didn't demand anything, we shouldn't have left our things there. A kindness turned into a misadventure. The only advice I can give is to indicate to guests a paid deposit in the city to avoid incurring these unpleasant inconveniences, considering the lack of safekeeping of objects especially on high season days... see you next time!
