17/08/2025: There's a very positive energy at Piemontesine... a mix of the magical atmosphere of the place and the village and the professionalism of Chatlotte, Jerome, and the other people I met there. The facility is very beautiful, well-kept, clean, and the welcome is exceptional. I have a golden retriever who is more than welcomed... spoiled with cuddles! And who has fallen in love with the woods. Thank you for the wonderful experience!! Paola and Leo🐾
17/08/2025: They deserve a 10 just for their kindness, which has nothing to do with the Ligurian region where I live. The food is divinely presented. The combinations are classy, creative, and delicious.

29/12/2025: Raw meat beaten with a knife, the meat was excellent quality. It's a shame about the robiola pie and hazelnut piadina with red cabbage. If only the meat was left, it would have been excellent. The pappardelle, rabbit ragù, and Taggiasca olives were excellent. It's a shame about the addition of pepper sauce which killed the other flavours. The lamb was abundantly salty and therefore related to the quality of the restaurant. Think about it. It's a shame about the Michelin Guide.

18/11/2025: Our time at Castello di Sinio was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, Denise and her incredible staff delivered a level of service that can only be described as top-notch perfection. Every detail was anticipated, every need was met before we even knew we had it, and every interaction felt genuinely warm and personal. What impressed us most was the meticulous planning Denise and her team handled for our stay. From curated daily itineraries to seamless reservations and thoughtful recommendations, everything flowed effortlessly. It made our trip feel not just relaxing, but expertly crafted. And then—the dinner. Truly world-class. The kind of meal that makes you pause mid-bite, look around the table, and silently agree that you’ll be talking about this night for years. Every dish showcased local ingredients, deep knowledge, and a chef's touch that borders on magic. One of the highlights of our entire trip was the pasta-making class hosted by Denise herself. It was fun, hands-on, charmingly educational, and absolutely delicious. Denise has an incredible gift for teaching and making everyone feel like part of something special. We didn’t just learn how to make pasta — we created one of the happiest memories of our journey. If you're considering a stay at Castello di Sinio, don't hesitate. It’s rare to find a place where hospitality, warmth, expertise, and true passion come together so naturally. Denise and her staff have built something remarkable, and we are already dreaming of our next visit.
20/10/2025: i recently stayed at the Castello for two nights and the Hotel emailed me to ask how my stay was. I responded by email, but sadly never heard back. I was in two minds about posting but as I never heard back please see below my view. I think that the hotel needs investment if seeking luxury and guests to want to come to the hotel for more than one night !! There needs to be a slight adjustment in the Hotel attitude which starts with the main gate signs that say no arrival before 2 pm, no outside visitors and then you also find that you can’t use the pool after 2 pm on departure day without being charged extra. In addition the Hotel has such a beautiful garden area, it’s a shame they don’t bother putting any cushions out and making it look nice other than leaving undressed tables and ones immagination as to how nice it could be. The hotel needs to create a more welcoming atmosphere with a lunch menu and dinner menu. Seems particularly weird that people will drive up to 30 minutes to other restaurants, but no one seems to want to drive to your hotel for lunch or dinner. You need to ask yourself why...... The pool chairs are particularly uncomfortable and should have cushions and they should be placed out every day automaticaly. In the bedroom it’s a shame you have to ask for a mattress topper and decent feather pillows in order to have a comfortable nights sleep. The bathrooms, particular the showers need a little bit of an upgrade. At least there is plenty of hot water..... No idea if the air-conditioning works but if it doesn’t then that would make a disastrous night sleep in your hotel. Luckily we were able to sleep with the windows open this trip. The furniture in your reception area is so large that basically makes it almost impossible to sit round without having to put one’s feet on top of the coffee table ! When sitting here people dont want to stare into the kitchen so door should be kept closed. It’s a great shame, but with 10% more effort maybe it could be 50% better. I would not rush back nor recommend to others based on my experiance. Next time would do more research as there has to be better as a very pretty area of Italy In the meantime we did have a lovely time touring the Barolo villages, tasting wine and eating in other restaurants.

Palas Cerequio

18/11/2024: E' la terza volta che passiamo dal Palas Cerequio e purtroppo devo dire che è stata deludente. Nulla da dire sul servizio ( giovani competenti e simpatici), lma i piatti sono stati una spanna sotto il livello delle precedenti occasioni. Piatti buoni (tagliolini al tartufo) discreti (Plin ai vari ripieni) e scarsi ( torta di nocciole e zabaione presentata come fossimo in un'osteria: pezzo di torta - fredda- e salsa di zabaione ). Peccato perchè una location come il Cerequio meriterebbe un livello superiore.
11/11/2024: Location molto suggestiva si ha una bellissima vista sui vigneti . Abbiamo pranzato con amici .Mi è sembrato un po’ eccessivo il prezzo circa 65 euro per un piatto di tagliolini con tartufo . Ho trovato i camerieri non proprio disponibili e cortesi ; mia figlia,alla quale non piace il tartufo , ha chiesto come antipasto solo un uovo al tegamino. Le è stato risposto che non si poteva avere senza tartufo: notare che il tartufo lo grattugiano e lo fanno pagare a parte; per cui non capisco il problema se non quello di guadagnare sul tartufo . Ultimo neo e non da poco un capello nei tagliolini . Che poi hanno scontato dal conto.

27/11/2024: Siamo stati sabato 23 novembre alla cena Astra. Grande buffet di benvenuto molto ben preparato. È stato fatto nell'ingresso a vetro dove si esponeva e si stava benissimo come temperatura. La cena ottima, prodotti di qualità, ben impiattati. Tavole ben preparate. Personale molto gentile. Locali puliti. Non do 5 perché il salone dove si mangiava era freddo. Con queste temperature bisogna tenere caldo, la gente alla fine rischia di non tornare perché si sta veramente male ad avere freddo dove si mangia. Parlando è stato un pensiero di tante persone presenti. Sarebbe un peccato che le persone non tornano per questo motivo perché il resto era tutto ok.
29/06/2024: Location molto curata e ordinata già tra i giardin dove si può anche cenare. Internamente molto elegante con personale sempre attento e gentile. Piatti curati e molto buoni. ti. Bravi ragazzi.
