01/08/2025: We had a great time!!!! The best carbonara I've ever eaten! We also had an amatriciana: really good too! Very good appetizers. And the service was top-notch! Riaz, you're fantastic! You made us laugh so much. Highly recommended. Too bad it has so few good reviews. Very underrated as a place. I highly recommend it.
01/08/2025: A charming, simple place, not as flashy as others, but definitely worth it. Delicious dishes... the carbonara is the bomb. And the service is full of humanity and warmth. Riaz, you're amazing!!! Wonderful welcome.

06/08/2025: A simple cappuccino and croissant, certainly not from a pastry shop but rather ordinary, and one that not even most cafés serve anymore. The cappuccino is standard and not very creamy.
24/06/2025: Very good and rich aperitif, we had a really good time. The owner and staff were really good, kind and courteous.
I highly recommend, we will definitely be back

Also an unfriendly staff. No smiles. And worst of all the toilet has no soap. When asked about it, staff rudely replied ‘it’s finished’
07/06/2025: We ordered two espresso tonic, they gave us 2 espresso, 2 tonics and 2 glasses with ice. When we wanted to paid, they charged us 24 euros, because it was cocktail in their eyes…cocktail that we have to make ourselves. We asked how much is espresso (1.2 €). I think the place was lovely but now I don’t want to come back, I feel cheated.

12/06/2025: Muy baja calidad de los ingredientes excepto la carbonara, la salsa del risoto de mar sabe al tomate más barato de tu supermercado. El tratar con trufa y queso no me ha gustado nada. Habiéndo conudo en más de 15 restaurantes ha sido en el que más extranjera me sentido. Estaba tan defraudada que no tenía ganas de probar postre. Además es caro.
The ingredients were very low quality, except for the carbonara. The seafood risotto sauce tasted like the cheapest tomato sauce you'd find at your local supermarket. I didn't like the truffle and cheese treatment at all. Having tried more than 15 restaurants, this was the one where I felt most like a foreigner. I was so disappointed that I didn't want to try dessert. It's also expensive.
11/06/2025: Если решите попить утром кофе, то вам укажут на дверь, с комментарием: у нас ресторан, не бар! И это при полном отсутствие людей.

El entrante de calamar era decente, pero curiosamente servido en un tazón profundo sin cuchara. Pedimos nuestros filetes medio raro, pero los recibimos bien hecho. Después de enviarlos de vuelta, los reemplazos fueron medianos, no ideales, pero aceptables.
El plato de queso era grande pero poco inspirado: cuatro de los mismos quesos y uno a la parrilla hasta el punto de saber a pescado malo.
Cuando dimos comentarios honestos al final, nos encontramos con una actitud grosera y terminamos en una discusión desagradable. Poco profesionales e inaceptables, no volveremos.
14/06/2025: Siamo stati a cena al Tiber per festeggiare il matrimonio dei miei genitori. La vista sul mare, indescrivibile, nulla da aggiungere. Siamo stati ricevuti e accolti da uno staff di una cordialità ineccepibile. La cena, a base di pesce, è stata spettacolare. Non vedo l'ora di poter tornare e magari anche pernottare.

23/04/2025: Excellent donuts and also brioches, richly filled. It is possible to have breakfast both outside and inside, the environment is welcoming and spacious, with background music. The staff is kind. There is also the possibility of having a buffet breakfast, paying the amount due, I think 12 euros

23/07/2025: Expensive. Plain crodino for €3.20. They don't serve the usual appetizers of olives, chips, and peanuts. The pizza is Gianfornaio's.
22/06/2025: Quality has dropped dramatically. The staff is friendly but the food starting from breakfast is absolutely to be avoided, furthermore the prices do not correspond to the offer. Breakfast for two people: two coffees and two croissants (certainly from a few days ago) euro 8.20

13/08/2025: Worst attitude from the reception staff. How do you accept bookings through American Express but don’t accept American Express for a deposit on site? Rooms are horrible also. Not clean. Disgusting. Worst attitude from the taller female receptionist with glasses. Was asked to fight.
I would argue this is a motel level service. Not 5 stars.
12/08/2025: Excellent service and attention. A hearty breakfast and a terrace with a panoramic view of Rome. The hotel is fine, though somewhat run-down. Very good location.

Oh~ I really forgot. The roasted vegetables I ordered were completely forgotten. The main dish was not served until the table was cleared.

12/08/2025: We came for a quick aperitivo, ordered two bottled beers and a platter with a few pizzas, a white pizza, and fries for €18. Honestly, I found the place quite dirty, especially the tables and glasses. The pizza and pizzas weren't bad, but the fries were burnt. I wouldn't go back.

30/06/2025: I stopped here once before Castel Sant’Angelo, on Via della Conciliazione. The coffee was okay, probably because they use Illy brand. I had one espresso and one orange juice al banco (no table service), and they charged me €6.90. I still don’t understand how that was calculated.
The orange juice wasn’t fresh and the glass was only 2/3 full.
But the worst part was the attitude of the two baristas – no hello, no “please”, just a very rude and arrogant way of dealing with people.
I’ve honestly never seen a place with so many bad reviews. That made me feel like my experience wasn’t just a one-time thing. Seems like most people are unhappy with the quality and service.
The location is amazing, but sadly, like many places near tourist landmarks, they don’t care about quality or customer experience. It feels more like a tourist trap.
14/06/2025: Ordered 1 bruschetta that didn’t have a price, got 2 instead (and charged) then got charged for 2 prossuito and cheese and spent $90 on this crap. The waiter insisted on a tip ina country that doesn’t require tips and got upset when I handed him my change for him standing at the door. Awful service, crap food and wasn’t worth the air conditioning we wanted to pay for. AVOID THIS PLACE PLEASE
