23/03/2025: I will recommend staying away from this Cafe as it is an absolute ripoff. They would charge you 10€ for an alleged „breakfast“, where you will get a croissant, a cappuccino and a juice. At the beginning, they will suggest that you will get a croissant and a sandwich and then they will tell you it‘s either or. I would absolutely not recommend!

01/11/2023: Locale carino, servizio veloce, piatti ben cucinati anche se qualcosina nell'antipasto dello chef va rivista (moscardini fritti troppo unti e polipetti alla Luciana un po' forti di pomodoro) il resto invece molto buono. Primi ottimi come il dolce. I prezzi forse leggermente alti ma con lo sconto the fork va bene. Personale di sala gentile e simpatico. Consigliato

25/03/2025: Great coffee, lovely service, in a sleek but welcoming atmosphere. We had cortado coffees for the first time and they had a lovely rich flavor with perfect foam and nice latte art. The server was very friendly, great English and attentive throughout the meal. Food was tasty, but started lukewarm and cooled quickly. Still, great flavors and the poached eggs were cooked perfectly.

10/03/2025: Posto trovato per caso ma ci ha piacevolmente stupiti. Appena arrivati, siamo stati accolti da personale estremamente gentile e abbiamo potuto ordinare velocemente. Le portate erano ricercate e con materie prime di grande qualità, soprattutto il baccalà e’ stato particolarmente gustoso. Veramente un pranzo piacevolissimo

31/12/2024: La comida no era realmente mejor que la media, mi plato de mariscos era bastante insípido. El servicio fue promedio. Bastante apresurado, el personal estaba un poco impaciente, solo porque trajimos un cochecito.

18/03/2025: Where do I start with this hotel. Firstly this is definitely NOT a 5 or 4 star hotel. More like a 3 to 3 and a half star hotel for what most people would say. It is situated in a good spot . Train station nearby and collusium in walking distance. On first appearance as you walk through the front of the hotel you think how nice with the roman statues on either side you think it is going to be perfect but our room was on the 8th floor and so was our daughters room on the same floor. It was so noisy . The restaurant is on the 9th floor so at about 7am in the morning and also of early evening the noise starts with the moving of chairs and tables but I'm fine with that as I am always up at that time but most people who are not up at that time will not be able to sleep peacefully. Also if you want to watch any TV first thing when you awake FORGET THAT as the channels seem to be all in italian or let's say the TV has NO ENGLISH channels . Our daughters room her TV did NOT even work and the noise from the bars were ongoing all night. The rooms are very clean and cleaned every day. You had tea and coffee in your rooms but NO milk. There is NO iron NO conditioner if you want to wash your hair only have Shampoo and body wash. They have a mini fridge inside one of the cupboards below the tv, beware not to touch the drinks and water inside the fridge as you will be charged for anything from that fridge , which is normal in most hotels unless you are all inclusive. NOW on to the bed, oh my goodness me I have NEVER stayed in a hotel where I have not slept not even comfy for 1 night. This has got to be the worst bed I have ever slept on. The beds are so uncomfortable. I had to use the spare quilt that was in the wardrobe to put under the sheet of the bed to give me a bit of comfort on my body but still the hardness of the bed was just too uncomfortable to sleep on in our room. Maybe in other rooms the mattresses were different but in room 820 it was too uncomfortable. The bathroom had a bath with the shower being inside the bath and not separate . On to BREAKFAST , it was just ok in my eyes . Scrabbled eggs or boiled eggs and fatty streaky bacon that was what you got from a English breakfast. Then you got alot of different tart cakes and brioche buns and croussants and bread. Cheese, salami ham. Yogurt and fruit. Cereals and different soft drinks and coffee.i have to say the coffee latte was so nice. Now on to Rome itself. Rome is such an amazing city. I would definitely come back here as it's so beautiful. To venture out and eat try and not eat in the centre as it is more expensive and I found being italian myself the food was more authentic and better in the outer part of the city being in the centre area the food wasn't as authentic was still nice but not like mamma used to make and also so much more expensive in the central areas then down the back street areas. So we went to get a galata (icecream) and it cost us £10 each for a nice cone icecream . So look around first as we just went to the first icecream place which was right near the trevi fountain we went to buy one and came away spending £10 for each coned ice cream, but a few doors down from this hotel was an ice cream shop which was £3 for a cone so the difference in central areas to the outer areas are so much different. Also be careful on the road as here in rome the cars have the right away on any road. If you want to cross a crossing like we do at home please also be careful as some roads in rome the cars still seem to come across the zebra crossing. Make sure the green man is showing before you try to cross but still some cars and motorbikes will still carry on through so be careful. Some piazza areas to visit and sit and enjoy the food and fountains and life are Piazza di trevi and piazza santa maria trastevere and there are many more but the prices are expensive in these areas. There are other piazza areas which are also very nice . PLEASE BE VERY AWARE pick pocketers are everywhere in rome especially in areas where their are crowds.

17/03/2025: Unfortunately it was a negative experience: some reception staff are unprofessional, rude, angular and without any problem-solving skills, unthinkable for a 5-star facility in the center of Rome! The room is disappointing: first because of the bathroom with a broken shower telephone and a noisy and faulty toilet drain. It wouldn't be enough, it's a hotel. The smart TV with problems suddenly turning on at very high volume and no assistance from the reception in this case too. Good breakfast on a nice terrace. The location on Via Nazionale is excellent but that's where it all ends.

09/02/2025: My friends and I sat down at 6pm and left at 8.30pm without ever having been served, despite numerous reminders on our part. I have never seen such poor service. Add staff if there are too many customers!!!

09/03/2025: Siamo arrivati in pizzeria alle 7.50 con due tavoli occupati dopo 10 minuti circa riusciamo ad ordinare due pizze un’acqua ed una birra rossa. Arrivano le bevande acqua e birra chiara da un altro cameriere rispetto a quello ordinato si avvicina il nostro cameriere e accorgendosi dell’errore mi propone di cambiare la birra ma io avevo già iniziato a berla quindi per correttezza ringrazio ma mi tengo la Chiara. Dopo circa mezz’ora premetto che entravano clienti solo per pizze a portar via che venivano serviti e i tre tavoli continuavano ad aspettare la pizza. Alle 8.40 mi alzo e vado alla cassa per andare via e pagare le bevande. La persona alla cassa, credo il proprietario, non solo non cerca di recuperare il urto ma in maniera arrogante mi propone il conto, per una birra (sbagliata) ed un’acqua 11 euro. Chiedo stupito se per una birra ed un’acqua fosse giusto ed in maniera seccata mi risponde di. Pago ed esco guardo lo scontrino e vedo che oltre le bevande mi aveva messo 3 euro di servizio! Ma quale servizio?….. Questo non è un lavoro per dilettanti allo sbaraglio. Un consiglio …. EVITATE ASSOLUTAMENTE QUEATI LOCALE SE DA UNA PIACEVOLE SERATA IN COMPAGNIA NON VOLETE USCIRE CON IL MAL DI STOMACO….il cibo? Non ho avuto il piacere di assaggiarlo, ma se tanto mi dà tanto….

02/11/2024: Sono ormai più di tre anni che veniamo qui, in coppia, con la famiglia ed amici. Che dire, si respira vera romanità, fuori dall’ingorgo delle vie centrali. Il personale è cordialissimo, il servizio eccellente e ( soprattutto) il menù fantastico. Qui si assapora la vera pizza romana, i fritti sono “fatti in casa” ( degni di nota specialmente il supplì ed il fiore di zucca) e se si gradisce anche la carne alla griglia è davvero degna di nota. Che dire, abbiamo trovato il nostro posto.

16/02/2025: At a campsite restaurant, you expect average food and average service. I was very pleasantly disappointed by the attentive and kind service, the very tasty food, and the perfectly reasonable prices.

09/02/2025: The service is underground. Waited 15 minutes and got the cat table as a solo traveler. After I couldn't even order drinks, I left. Next to the cutlery, the service staff were running around and constantly shouting something at each other. Too bad.
