09/03/2026: My daughter and her boyfriend gave us a gift card for this hotel, and we finally managed to use it. An 8-minute drive from the center of Trento. Convenient parking, excellent reception, truly beautiful rooms, and impeccable staff ensured our experience. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. A wellness center kit/basket complete with colorful slippers, bathrobe, and towels for the loungers is also provided. Slippers for the room are also provided. All slippers and slippers are carefully packaged. No need to bring a lot of things. A hairdryer, soaps, including intimate soaps, shower gel, and even body lotion are already provided. USB ports are also on the wall next to the bed. Reservations for the relaxation center are MUST be made from those offered by the hotel, as it's not very large. There's a heated pool, water beds with vibration massage, sauna, Turkish bath, bucket of cold water shock, and an emotional shower. There's a beautiful round outdoor hot tub and two amazing square outdoor hot tubs. Fantastic staff, even in the relaxation area, with herbal teas and drinks to keep you hydrated. Dried fruit is also available if you like. We also saw a door indicating the gym, but we didn't use it, so I can't review it. A truly wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back. 08/03/2026: The rule is not to return to places I've already been. Hotel Villa Madruzzo is the exception. For the exquisite courtesy of the staff, a kindness I find from arrival to departure. For the professionalism; everything is clean, tidy, efficient; nothing is left to chance. For the beauty of the wellness center nestled in a garden beautiful in all seasons. For the excellent cuisine. It's definitely a place to return to.

22/01/2026: We ate outside at Boivin for New Year's Eve dinner. The place is warm and welcoming, with rustic '80s music playing in the background, but doesn't disrupt the conviviality. The service is friendly and professional; I'm holding back the 5th star only because of an oversight in the lasagna preparation. Traditional Trentino cuisine features meat and fish dishes, both local and otherwise, and quality ingredients, carefully cooked and beautifully presented without being overdone. The portions are well-balanced. The value for money is in line with other Levico Terme restaurants, and overall, it's a good value, especially considering the special evening. The wine list is comprehensive, with both local and regional wines. We've been there before and will definitely be back!

20/01/2026: From the Tonale Pass, we headed toward Valsugana, and in addition to the beautiful view of the lake, which truly brings me peace, we came across this place, which I find very captivating. Here, you can indulge in a dish of local cuisine, a pizza, or grilled meat, all in a beautifully curated setting run by the very welcoming owners. And as their motto is clearly stated on the menu, "Everything always begins with a woman." It's worth a visit.

03/01/2026: Lovely place. Everything was well taken care of. Very friendly staff. The meat was incredibly tender. We drank Lagrein wine from an excellent winery. Highly recommended.

07/01/2026: I ate really well...and as a vegetarian in the mountains, that's not always easy. Delicious, bold cheeses accompanied by pear mustard (what a kick! 😜), polenta with mushrooms and flowers, and an excellent Amarone. The tiramisu at the end knocked me out!! See you soon!!!

15/02/2026: The owner is incredibly friendly, a truly lovely person, helpful, and makes you feel at home. My partner chose the snail menu, which I also tried... An experience I highly recommend! More than fair prices and very generous meals!

26/01/2026: We had a great meal here on Saturday night. Restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and the menu was varied. I had the Tagliatelline di teroldego with sausage and cheese and it was amazing. It was a reasonable portion size, and the flavours were delicious. My guest had the chicken fillet which was also very enjoyable. We opted for dessert, the apple strudel was our favourite, although we felt we needed more vanilla sauce. The carafe of red wine we had was great quality and for a reasonable price, so much so, we ordered another. Overall, a wonderful meal and glad we chose to visit!

15/02/2026: This was our first time here. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was clean. The food we ordered was good, although the lamb chops could have been cooked a little longer, but that's a matter of personal preference. Negative notes: We were told the dish of the day (lamb chops) would be served with side dishes. They arrived with only a piece of white broccoli on the side. Another diner was served the same dish with three sides: green broccoli, a radicchio, and a piece of fennel. Finally, the bill...we found ourselves charged different prices for the appetizers than those listed on the menu. Perhaps because we asked to split the two different appetizers into two plates. To be fair, the waiter should have specified that there was an additional charge for this service so the customer could decide whether it was worth it.

04/03/2026: We've been going to the Hermitgae as a family for many years and it's one of my favourite hotels. Why? It's family run, big enough to have everything you need including a not huge, but swimmable decent indoor pool and spa, but small enough to be personal. The location is in a quiet wooded spot just outside Madonna with stunning views. Rooms are good and service excellent and there is a friendly minibus to take you into town or the lifts always available Most people go half board - the breakfast is excellent with delicious fresh breads, home baked patisserie, hams, salamis and mountain cheeses along woth perfectly cooked eggs to order, pancakes etc, yoghurts, fresh juices - only complaint is they could do with a decent museli, but you can order properly made porrage - and the coffee, top, along with teas. The dinner this year was the best we have had, strating with a grilled veg and salad buffet with hams, smoked salmon and cold roast beef, then choices of pasta/soup course, brilliant main course and stunning desserts - they also do excellent home-made tea time pastries included Madonna itself is medium-sized, low built resort full of, 3 and 4* family run hotels with some very good cafes and shops - the slopes are varied, maybe not Val d'isere, but pretty good with some v demanding blacks and excellent independent-run ski restaurants. Efficient lifts and snow making means conditions are always good, even though it sometimes gets busy at peak as the area is popular now with Poles and Czechs - overall, magical place, very friendly, the Dolomites beat the Alps in my view and as long as you are not into glitzy 6* spiv hotels, Bio Hermitage is the best you can get!

26/10/2025: We stayed one night in conjunction with a theater event and were pleasantly surprised. We slept in an ancient castle with modern touches, very clean and comfortable. The dinner was excellent, featuring fresh ingredients and impeccable presentation. Eating by candlelight with a stunning view is truly captivating. The show was out of the ordinary, very special, and I'd call it magical. The price was fair. Finally, Sofia and the staff's hospitality made you feel right at home. I highly recommend it.

11/02/2026: Bad experience. We booked ahead. When we arrived, they told us we had to sit in the basement... my friend, who had been there before, asked if she could have one of the remaining tables on the main floor, but they annoyed us. So they seated us in an area on the left side of the entrance, which was really annoying from an acoustic standpoint, as well as visually very different from the "mountain" atmosphere we'd chosen when booking here, as well as upstairs, for an evening of conversation. It felt like the child from the table next to us was sitting at the table because of the terrible acoustics (no doubt because there's a vaulted ceiling there that bounces noise back into the center). We asked to be moved. The extremely annoyed waiter went up to call the manager, who came to us and, after our insistence, moved us to the basement. The acoustics there were acceptable. The waiter was brusque and impatient when he took our order... it looked like they'd already sold out... but it was only 7:25 PM!! They brought us a pizza, then he said it wasn't ours, which can happen, so he took it away annoyed. Finally, he brought another... while we were cutting it, he came back and said it wasn't ours... at which point we said it was fine anyway, never mind. Halfway through the evening, the manager was polite and asked if everything was okay. Finally, the waiter came back for dessert, with the menu, and we said we didn't want it. A waitress came back and asked if we wanted dessert, we said no, and I can't describe the annoyed and rude look on the girl's face, who then walked away. For two salads and a pizza, we spent 65 euros. We won't be returning. The food was good, though; perhaps the price was a bit high, but if you eat well and in a nice location, it's reasonable. In a basement, with the rudeness of the staff and all that confusion, however, we felt it was excessive.
