31/03/2024: Started very well, service was excellent and the aperitivo was as you’d expect from a Michelin star restaurant. After our drinks the waiter came over and knelt down next to me and asked us to keep our voices down. This not only broke the good vibe of the restaurant but made us then feel incredibly uncomfortable for the next 7 courses of our meal. As a place where you go for a special occasion I was quite surprised a waiter would make this comment. I was also quite confused as we weren’t speaking loud at all. The food was okay but nothing was really wow. So would say worth a visit but be careful of raising your voice at the risk of offending the waiter.

17/05/2024: We stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed the amazing views overlooking the lake. The room was lovely but the lake view terrace was fabulous. Even in the rain! When the sun was out it was stunning but sadly one day we had lots of rain but it was spectacular to watch from the covered terrace area reading a book with a blanket! The hotel is situated high up on the side of the lake with far reaching views and the sounds of the birds including a cuckoo was lovely. There are garden rooms and whilst the garden rooms are just as nice (and the gardens are gorgeous in their own right) the views can then only be seen at breakfast or from the terrace. Supper is served in a different room overlooking the gardens. We had breakfast and supper here (half board) and it was excellent selection and quality. The staff are very friendly and we really appreciated all their help with ensuring we had a wonderful stay. We will return!

10/05/2024: Per il nostro matrimonio volevamo una splendida location e I Due Roccoli è una delle più belle che abbiamo visto, il panorama sul lago d’Iseo è mozzafiato. Scoprire poi che oltre a ciò c’è molto, ma molto di più è stato meraviglioso. L’attenzione ai particolari, i consigli forniti per la perfetta riuscita dell’evento, i piatti serviti con cura e cucinati perfettamente, la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale sono cose che si, ci si aspetta, ma non con questa attenzione. Sembrava che il nostro matrimonio non fosse uno dei tanti ma quello di un loro amico e che già dal primo incontro tutti si prodigassero perché nulla fosse lasciato al caso e tutto fosse preparato alla perfezione. Sentirsi poi dire dagli invitati che raramente hanno mangiato e bevuto così bene ad un matrimonio è stata una nostra soddisfazione che riporto interamente allo staff de I Due Roccoli.

01/04/2024: A good experience, very nice location, excellent quality food, I would say everything was almost perfect if it weren't for the usual and now "old" trick of the wrong receipt with an extra bottle of water. Let's say that I don't expect it from restaurants of this level, but I notice that it is still common practice to do so. Sin!

18/02/2024: My family and I had a Sunday lunch at this Romagna cuisine restaurant. The environment is rustic and welcoming, typical of a trattoria. We ordered a mixed starter of crostini. The variety was good, but we weren't particularly impressed with the flavor. For the first courses, we chose tagliatelle with ragù and gnez (homemade pasta made from polenta) with beans. The noodles were good. The gnez, however, were a little too salty and the bean cream covered the flavor of the pasta. For second courses, we had some cuts and grilled meat. The meat was good and the grilled portion was generous. To accompany the second courses, we ordered dip, gratin and grilled vegetables. The service was fast and efficient. Maybe a little too "present" and pressing in wanting to clear the dishes. Prices are normal for a restaurant that offers Romagna cuisine. If you are looking for a restaurant serving Romagna cuisine with a rustic and welcoming atmosphere, this place is a good choice.

28/03/2024: Extremely aesthetic restaurant in the center of Brescia. A well-kept environment with architectural and furnishing details that truly leave you speechless. The restaurant is beautiful, beautiful in fact, and there's no doubt about that. The kitchen offers a mainly fish-based menu, although there are also some land-based options. We ate fish and the quality of the raw materials was really excellent. In general, however, I found both the service and the dishes themselves very pretentious and with a truly unbalanced quality-price ratio. Good raw fish, but decidedly limited in quantity, at €35. I appreciated the fish but not the banal mayonnaise with which it was served. The tuna Florentine, on the other hand, was excellent but my paccheri with lobster were absolutely anonymous and so al dente that I struggled to chew them. The wine list is beautiful and good value for money. On an evening with two tables occupied, the service was, in my opinion, distracted, slightly clumsy and certainly not up to the standard of the place and above all of the bill you pay.

01/04/2024: What can I say, it was the first time, it seemed like I was a regular customer, very friendly and nice, an original and clean place with fantastic tranquility like the food and the wine, it's the first and certainly not the last, congratulations to everyone, quality, fair price

25/03/2024: Very nice location and friendly service. Unfortunately many dishes did not convince us and do not justify the very high prices, neither for the quality of the dish (like the fried fish) nor for abundance (especially on the starters with all the goodies, for €18-20 list price I would have expected definitely more). Overall it's sufficient but given the prices I wouldn't return.

02/04/2024: The disappointment of the Easter lunch.... from start to finish... only the waitress deserved to get up and leave... and let's not talk about the dishes... cold without refreshment without bread and I could say more... I had high expectations given that I have known the restaurant for at least 20 years but this time they absolutely had to be cancelled

27/04/2024: Situato nel centro del paese si affaccia sulla piazza principale. Arredamento raffinato, il menù con pochi piatti ma la proposta è carne e pesce. Piatti raffinati curati nei minimi dettagli e la presentazione è come se si stesse osservando un quadro d'autore. La cosa che mi ha colpito e che i sapori di ogni piatto non si sovrappongono così da poter gustare pienamente ogni pietanza. I vini proposti come abbinamento si sposano benissimo alle pietanze scelte. Il servizio è ottimo. La cucina è superba. Ristorante di qualità superiore. Da provare almeno una volta.
