20/07/2026: A regular stop every time you visit Tortoreto. This restaurant is truly worth a visit. The traditional hot and cold appetizers are delicious, the arrosticini are perfectly cooked, and the homemade desserts are a wonderful finish. The restaurant is very quaint and well-kept, and the staff is always kind and friendly. I highly recommend going there!

21/08/2026: Terrible experience, rude staff, overcooked arrosticini, and poor food. If you have dogs, don't go. They don't have water bowls, and the cats roam freely among the tables, which is unhygienic. Furthermore, they attack the dogs, who obviously must be on a leash and muzzled if aggressive, while the cats are fine to roam free and silent. I reply to the owner that to get out of this situation, he can only invent the dog's unhygienic behavior. Since the restaurant is his, he shouldn't blame the mayor; he should be concerned about who and what is roaming around there. If it was so much of a burden, giving us a drop of disinfectant could have added it to the already steep bill.

19/08/2026: The restaurant has a beautiful location, suitable for both groups and more romantic dinners. I recommend the outdoor terrace, especially on summer evenings. Since we don't eat meat, we opted for fried foods and cheeses as appetizers, all of which were good; and for a legume soup and tagliatelle with mushrooms, both dishes also received a thumbs up. The real problem is the service and the somewhat high prices (see €2.50 service charge per person, which is absolutely nonexistent). First of all, it's really difficult to contact them because they don't answer the phone. When we arrived, the welcome was cold. The waiters were distracted, but the staff were very kind and professional. When it came time to pay, the guy (the same one who welcomed us) didn't even smile, didn't ask how it went, and basically handed us the card without saying a word... It's a shame, because you often return to a restaurant not for the menu but for the welcome!

Although we don't frequent the beach, we chose to stay here to experience tranquility, courtesy, and impeccable cleanliness—values ​​that are inherent here. The breakfast, rich in delicious desserts, and the meticulously prepared dinners, especially the excellent first courses, make our stay a gourmet experience of the highest caliber. Our room is always spotless and tidy, with a spectacular view of Tortoreto and the surrounding vineyards, a view that immediately inspires calm. We truly appreciate the constant attention to detail, including the frequent linen changes. A special thank you to all the staff, who help make this break a pleasant and relaxing experience; we couldn't ask for a better break from our long journey. Our confidence in this property is such that we've already booked for this year's stay, and we look forward to visiting you again.

Villa Sant'Angelo is a truly beautiful property, nestled in a charming location, meticulously maintained, and instantly conveying a sense of peace. It's a true oasis, ideal for those seeking relaxation, good food, and a genuine welcome. The food is excellent, the service is attentive, and the day-to-day management is one of the property's true strengths. The rooms are clean, tidy, and well-maintained. Special thanks go to Federica, Giuseppe, and Joshua, whose professionalism, helpfulness, and attentiveness make guests feel welcomed and cared for. Overall, the entire staff is fantastic: polite, attentive, helpful, and always ready to find a solution. I must point out one important aspect, however: during my stay, I clearly felt that when the owners are present, the atmosphere changes significantly. Certain dynamics become less pleasant, the rules seem to change, and the overall experience risks significantly deteriorating. Personally, there were times when I seriously considered canceling my stay and never returning. I stayed mainly thanks to the quality of the management, especially Giuseppe and his family, who demonstrated great skill, poise, and attention to their guests. My advice is this: before booking, contact the property and find out if the owner will be present during your stay. When the property is entrusted to the operations staff (the manager), the experience can be truly wonderful. However, when the owners intervene directly, at least in my experience, the stay can be much less peaceful. In summary: wonderful location, excellent cuisine, clean rooms, excellent staff. The operations management truly deserves praise. The ownership, however, represents the property's main weakness, in my opinion.

14/12/2025: I had breakfast. A wide selection of pastries and exceptional customer service. The location is remarkable given its location on the Tortoreto seafront and is enhanced by transparent igloo tents positioned in the green area in front of the seafront.

02/07/2026: Exceptional!!! I was struck by the reviews while searching online for a takeout place for my family vacation! As soon as I arrived, I immediately ordered fresh pasta and meatball sauce (which we had loved on a previous vacation). What can I say...the fresh pasta was exceptional, one of the best I've ever eaten, and the sauce was sublime! We've tried a bit of everything so far—lasagna, farro, potatoes, vegetables, meat—and I have to say, despite their simplicity, they're excellent quality with a simple yet authentic flavor. The staff is kind and friendly. It's definitely a place that feels like home, and I recommend it to anyone vacationing in Tortora.

20/08/2026: Good food, but TERRIBLE service! We waited 40 minutes to order, and another half hour to get one of the appetizers we requested. Two of our friends received their appetizers, followed immediately by their pizza, which wasn't the one they'd ordered. Another friend's burger arrived cold, and we'd finished eating, and the arrosticini two of our friends had ordered for a main course still hadn't arrived. Plus, we had to ask for water over and over again. They didn't clear our table between courses. Terrible!

19/08/2026: This beautiful restaurant sits atop the Tortoreto hill, boasting a fantastic panoramic view of the sea and the hills. The temperature is ideal and refreshing. After a day at the beach, this is the perfect place to relax. Everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. The staff were friendly and very professional. The service was quick and impeccable despite the crowded restaurant. Prices were in line with the location and the view. Reservations recommended.
