15/09/2025: Lido Marisella is not only a beautiful beach with plenty of space and clean lettini and ombrelloni, but also has a nice restaurant with a good selection of fish. We ate there twice, each time with paranza ("fish from the trawl"), which consisted mainly of small red mullet, a type of whitefish, and a large scampi as the topping. It was not only a really large portion, but also really delicious, and all for €17. We also got half a liter of local white wine for €5, and the lunch right by the sea was excellent. The owner and waitress were both very friendly, and we enjoyed it very much.

07/09/2025: Beachfront campsite, definitely a recent acquisition from the Club del Sole group, with great potential for improvement, especially in the glamping section. A heartfelt compliment to the housekeeping service; bathrooms and showers are always very clean. The beach, both public and private, is a bit small, with both sand and gravel. The sea is beautiful and deep enough from the very first meters. The entertainment staff was exceptional; everyone was very young but professional and engaging. Roseto is a beautiful town, and the surrounding area is interesting. I'll be back to improve my rating, because so far, Club del Sole has always pleasantly surprised me.

06/09/2025: We stayed at the Club del Sole in Roseto degli Abruzzi and had a wonderful time! The accommodation was new, well-maintained, and equipped with very useful amenities like a microwave and dishwasher. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise: excellent, plentiful, and varied meals. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is quiet and suitable for families with children, with large areas dedicated to physical activity and games. The entertainment staff organizes well-structured and engaging activities for the little ones. A truly positive experience that made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

13/07/2025: The apartments are nice, but at least the two-person attic apartments with balconies need better lighting. Light fixtures aren't functional and there's a lack of counter space. Not a great value for money. Located in a more residential area, 2-3 km from the city center.

13/07/2025: We stayed at this residence five years ago with our one-year-old daughter. We had a wonderful time, thanks to the convenient location and the flexibility that a residence offers, where you can cook, but there's also a restaurant on the ground floor, for those days when you don't feel like cooking. At the end of our holiday, our review was five stars 😊 We returned this year, with our daughter, now six, and our new arrival, five months old. We're about to conclude our long holiday, and we're reluctantly reducing our review by one star. Perhaps some choices we've made in the meantime have made us "appreciate" the property a little less (for example, the restaurant, which has become self-service). However, it remains a good option for those of us with small children. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and we extend a special thanks to the tireless maintenance man, who always smiles and often resolves small issues that required his assistance. We also greatly appreciated the work of the two entertainers, who always kept our little girl entertained with games at the beach, in the pool, pizza parties, and snacks.

27/08/2025: Had dinner last night as a couple. A very satisfying experience; the seafood mezze maniche was delicious! The fried fish and fish skewers were equally excellent. The young woman who served us was attentive and kind. The location is charming, right on the seafront. Definitely worth a try!

08/09/2025: Good morning Review: Suggestions for improving the service I'm writing this review with the intention of providing constructive feedback to help improve the quality of the service, not simply as a criticism. The Room The room seemed dated, with old-fashioned furnishings. I encountered several problems: • The shower doors didn't close properly. • It was impossible to adjust the water temperature, which was always either very hot or very cold. • The safe, listed in the room description, was missing. • The Wi-Fi connection, described on the website as available "throughout almost the entire property," actually only worked in the common areas. It was impossible to use in the room. • The website promises "a good night's sleep," but soundproofing is practically nonexistent. Frequent trains, even at night, make rest difficult, especially for light sleepers. The Cuisine The experience in the kitchen was unfortunately disappointing. • Wait times: The dishes were excessively long (an hour and a half on average for a first and second course). • Hygiene: I noticed that the girl serving tables didn't keep her hair tied back, and her long nails needed to be cut, which should be addressed for hygiene reasons. • Food quality: Most dishes were completely devoid of salt. I repeatedly ordered food that was dry and inedible, such as chicken, hake fillet, and monkfish. Side dishes, such as fries, arrived cold and soggy. The tortellini in broth I tried for lunch were tough and of poor quality. When another customer raised a similar issue, he was told that "no one was complaining." • Table service: Dishes were not served to all diners at the same time. It is unacceptable for one diner to finish their dish while the other has yet to receive theirs. • Peculiar Experience: Out of curiosity, I tried the "scrambled grapes" dish (which I'd never seen on any menu), and my plate looked truly unappealing. Only after I'd finished it was they brought me a side dish, making the whole thing even more bizarre. Positive Note I'd like to highlight the excellent work of the cleaning lady. Her skill and dedication were remarkable and are a strong point of your service. Best regards

28/04/2025: Eravamo di passaggio direzione sud e abbiamo deciso di fermarci a pranzare in questa trattoria... Il locale era umile ma pulito e ordinato...il personale era cortese e gentile e molto ospitale.....abbiamo preso 4 primi e un secondo per non appesantirci troppo ma posso dirvi che era tutto squisitissimo...ci ritorneremo sicuramente consiglio vivamente

19/04/2025: Sono stato a pranzo alla Fattoria della Nonna dopo avere visto il video su YouTube di Francesco, di cui stimo e seguo il lavoro. Ho fatto una sosta durante un viaggio un po’ lungo da Milano al Salento, ma sono rimasto molto deluso. Unica nota positiva una cameriera gentilissima dai capelli biondi che io e mia moglie salutiamo ancora tantissimo. Racconto la mia esperienza: posizione strategica a 2 passi dal casello, parcheggio immenso in grado di ospitare anche numerosi tir. L’accoglienza è stata affettuosa e veloce. Al tavolo non c’è il menù e quindi non è dato sapere il prezzo delle portate, che infine scopriremo non essere propriamente attagliato ad una trattoria per camionisti dalla location molto semplice. Ci viene chiesto solo se vogliamo pesce o carne ed allora mia moglie prende un antipasto di mare freddo e mezze maniche allo scoglio, io antipasto della nonna e chitarra al ragù. Nell’antipasto di mia moglie era presente, tra le altre cose, un pezzo di tonno in scatola (il piatto costa 12 euro…). Insomma, abbiamo pranzato ma l’esperienza non è da ripetere. Inoltre bevendo solo acqua liscia (considerato che dovevo guidare) abbiamo speso ben 46,50 (che comprendono anche 2 caffè). I prezzi li abbiamo scoperti solo al momento di pagare, perché il listino è affisso vicino alla cassa. Mi spiace non premiare la cortesia del personale ma non siamo rimasti contenti del cibo.
