17/04/2026: A café on the main street of Villa Rosa, good value for money. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for a good breakfast.

02/06/2026: I'm not used to writing negative reviews, but this time I can't help it... We sat down at 1:00 PM and ate at 2:45 PM... After several requests... We had 2 little girls with us who waited an hour for their first course... 2 fried dishes, a seafood salad, and a grilled swordfish arrived after several requests... and I don't want to comment on the quality (I'm telling you everything). I'm sorry, but they won't see me again.

05/04/2026: I returned after a year to celebrate my birthday with family and friends at Mamma Paola. Aside from the wonderful, delicious, and abundant food I found, the good thing that shocked me was that after the recent fuel price hikes, prices here remained the same as last year. I thank all the wonderful staff at Mamma Paola and wish them a Happy Easter.

03/06/2026: The baked goods were very good. We had breakfast with a voucher provided by the partner establishment (a B&B) where we were staying, which included a "hot drink and a pastry" each. We had a cappuccino, a hot tea (with lemon), and two croissants, but after consuming them, when we handed in the vouchers at the cashier, we were asked to top up the tea by €1.30. I didn't bat an eyelid and paid, but it seems rather shabby to ask for a supplement for a large glass of hot water and a sachet of Twinings Lemon Scented Tea. I would have perhaps understood if they had at least given us a teapot and a slice of lemon (real). It could be better, as I found the next morning at another bar (there, yes, much better). What a shame.

15/05/2026: Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was decidedly negative. There were two of us, and we ordered: A portion of prosciutto al taglio; A portion of fried cheese (unfortunately, it arrived cold); A first course of fettuccine with artichokes and pecorino cheese; A rare steak; Two side dishes of chicory (so bitter it was inedible, almost all of it left on the plate); Sparkling water and a small bottle of house wine (not particularly high-quality). No dessert, no coffee. The main problem, besides the inconsistent quality of the dishes, was the final bill: 80 euros. An absolutely disproportionate amount for what we ate and the type of service provided. To make matters worse, the payment was made without a receipt, something I unfortunately didn't ask for at the time due to my inattention, but which I find unprofessional. I would have expected more transparency given such a high price for an otherwise ordinary dinner. An experience not to be repeated. I won't go back there again.

01/05/2026: A beautiful location surrounded by greenery, the room (at least ours) wasn't great... quite the opposite. But the food is top-notch, in fact, I'd say very top-notch! Everything from the appetizers to the first courses to the meats is top-notch! Definitely worth trying again if I'm in the area again. Wide selection of wines and very friendly owners.
