07/11/2025: We had an appetizer of hot arrosticini and chips, and two gnocchi with sauce for the kids. Service was prompt, the meat arrosticini were good, but the liver ones could be better. The mutton alla callara was a really good appetizer. The Montepulciano wine by the carafe was good.

04/12/2025: A welcoming restaurant with friendly, professional staff, but above all capable of solving any unplanned situation that may arise, such as allergies not communicated at the time of booking. They can find a solution for you on the spot with a dedicated menu. This classic restaurant has plenty of space, with convenient parking. The food is classic Abruzzo cuisine, cooked to perfection. The roast meat is excellent, they can seat many people, and above all, it's fresh off the grill. I should point out that this isn't the first time; I've eaten pizza, arrosticini, traditional cuisine, etc. here, all excellent.

16/11/2025: Truly exceptional pizza! Nothing to say... Fast and friendly service. The only small flaw... The place is a bit noisy. Otherwise, highly recommended!!! We'll definitely be back. A great find.

16/11/2025: A very rustic and dated venue, ideal for a casual party with friends. The set menu is helpful for keeping costs low. The pizza is a bit chewy but good, and the arrosticini are delicious.

07/11/2025: A monument built on the ruins of a large Roman villa, inhabited until late antiquity, which between the 6th and 7th centuries became a castrum for the Byzantines who had retained control of the nearby port of Aternum (Pescara), a key landing place and intermediate port between the Exarchate capital of Ravenna and Constantinople. They evidently built the first nucleus of the historic Torre Alex (named after Alessandro Valignano, one of the lords of the Valignano di Cepagatti family in the 17th century). The tower was consolidated in the Lombard era as a control point for a strategic road junction at the crossroads of the S.S. Picena Aprutina and the routes leading up to Forca di Penne and the Aquilano area. From the 11th and 12th centuries, it became the seat of the lords of the Norman, Swabian, and Angevin fiefdom of Cepagatti, before passing to the Valignano family in the 15th century and finally to the current owners. The first archaeological investigations by the Superintendency date back to the 1970s, and continued between 1998 and 2011 in Piazza San Rocco, bringing to light important Roman-era artefacts preserved in the City Council Chamber. The restoration of the Castle has returned to the public the so-called "Sala delle Cisterne," a rare and authentic Roman-era cistern measuring 22 meters long and 4 meters wide, as well as the 340-square-meter "Sala del Grano," located on the top floor of the monument, with a panoramic view of the Pescara Valley. The restoration of the Marcantonio Castle, begun in 2008, represents a "place in history," and the over 2,000 square meters spread over four levels offer the possibility of hosting particularly evocative events. Unfortunately, it is now in decline due to problems with the owners and is closed. What a shame... It is closed and abandoned. We hope the municipality of Cepagatti buys it back.

24/08/2025: I went to this restaurant with my children for my birthday. We had a great time. The pizzas were excellent. The owner, Francesca, is very kind and attentive to her customers' satisfaction. I definitely recommend it. I will definitely return with friends.

23/08/2025: We visited this restaurant for an outdoor dinner, and everything was perfect, despite an unexpected event that could have ruined the evening: a sudden downpour broke out halfway through dinner. The staff was extremely quick to address the situation, immediately finding a solution and allowing us to continue enjoying our dinner without any inconvenience. The food was truly excellent! Special thanks go to the manager, Francesca, who proved to be a true force of nature: always smiling, available, and tirelessly coordinating everything with energy and professionalism. An experience that impressed us not only for the quality of the cuisine, but also for the impeccable organization and attention to detail. We will definitely be back!

28/09/2025: I went to celebrate my 40th birthday, the food was excellent quality, the cake service needed updating, it was served as if it were a pizza, all in all we had a good time.

11/10/2025: Bruschetta was priced sky-high, as were the beers. Mutton arrosticini were good, although a bit too sinewy for my taste. Another flaw was that between ordering and the arrosticini arriving, we'd had three beers and finished all the bruschetta.
