25/04/2026: A fantastic experience amidst the winding roads of Abruzzo. After a motorcycle ride through Guardiagrele, Casoli, the Verde River springs in Fara San Martino, Palena, Campo di Giove, and Pacentro, we crossed the San Leonardo Pass and stopped for lunch at Locanda del Barone in San Vittorino (descending just before Caramanico). ​The restaurant is wonderful, with a beautifully landscaped outdoor garden, perfect for relaxing. Lunch was top-notch: on the owner's recommendation, we opted for three starters, all perfect. We then continued with superb handmade arrosticini and exceptional roast lamb. The dessert, a lemon tart, was also excellent. ​The value for money is amazing, with the bill being decidedly modest considering the high quality of the dishes. We wanted to show our biker friends from Bari the best of Abruzzo, and thanks to this lunch, we achieved perfection. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back! Booking in advance is recommended.

05/07/2026: An enchanting, quiet, welcoming location surrounded by nature... a true oasis of peace! The stone structure, converted from an old barn, is a journey back in time. The very kind owners also prepared a delicious dinner for us with typical Abruzzo products. Highly recommended!

22/06/2026: We discovered this agriturismo on a Monday evening during our stay in Caramanico Terme. Andrea's welcome made us feel right at home. Andrea and Lida's cuisine and service are meticulously prepared and allowed us to discover the true flavors of local tradition. The appetizer with prosciutto, coppa, salami, and cheese was excellent. The cacio e ova balls with tomato sauce were delicious. Both the arrosticini and the lamb were cooked to perfection, the latter being incredibly tender. The restaurant is intimate and welcoming, and truly feels like a genuine refuge where you can unwind and feel at home.

10/06/2026: I found myself at this hotel accompanying some of my American clients, passionate cyclists, who wanted to climb the famous Blockhaus 🚴‍♂️⛰️ The hotel is run by the entire family: simple, authentic, and truly lovely people who love their work and convey it in every detail. As for the rest, you only need to arrive to understand: the welcome, atmosphere, and services are simply fantastic. A place I happily recommend to anyone seeking genuine hospitality and a true Abruzzo experience.

02/06/2026: A delightful stay for two, accompanied by our four-legged friend! A special thank you goes to Mr. Davide, who welcomed us with great warmth and professionalism. The hotel's location is one of its strengths: centrally located, perfect for a leisurely stroll through the quaint town center and easy access to the area's numerous hiking trails and nature trails, ideal for nature lovers and hikers. The rooms are welcoming, clean, and well-maintained, while the common areas (e.g., the pool) are comfortable and well-maintained. The attention to guests and the commitment to providing quality service are evident. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to visit Caramanico Terme with friends, enjoy the relaxation of the village, and explore the surrounding natural wonders. It's certainly an experience we'll remember fondly.

06/01/2026: Everything was beautiful and super cozy. I had kindly asked for a dessert in the room because it was my boyfriend's birthday, and they obliged. 😍 The only thing I'm saying is that the double bed, with two single beds pushed together, is a bit uncomfortable; one of them ends up in the middle of the bed if it moves too much. 😂 I'd add a Smart TV, but otherwise, everything was beautiful. The mountain view was wonderful, it was a shame to leave.

01/01/2026: The hotel is in a great location, and although it's truly dated—especially the rooms—it has everything you need. The staff, especially the owner, is very friendly and helpful. There are a few things we didn't like: * Two nights for two with breakfast and New Year's Eve dinner cost a whopping €650 (quite a lot for a 3-star hotel), but the sauna and Turkish bath are available for a fee (€30 per person!). * Even on January 1st, you have to vacate your room by 10:30 (no flexibility for those who attended the New Year's Eve dinner). * At New Year's Eve dinner, some dishes arrived cold, which is understandable with so many people, but still a shame.

02/01/2026: Small but comfortable rooms and very comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel's location is EXCEPTIONAL! (It's right in the center of Caramanico Terme.) Step outside the hotel and you'll find yourself in front of Christmas markets full of surprises: souvenirs, food (sweet/savory), and drinks (alcoholic/non-alcoholic). Everything was excellent. My rating for this hotel/B&B is 4/5 (overall average: 3/5 - 5/5 - 5/5). Thank you for your time over the past few days. I hope to return and I hope you receive more reviews like this.

30/12/2025: I liked the rooms, they were very large; the service was great too. The location is really strategic, as it's deep inside the city!
