04/08/2026: Our trekking guide recommended this excellent restaurant serving traditional Abruzzo cuisine, where we had a truly wonderful time and a delicious meal. The convenience of the ample parking was evident from the moment we arrived. The dining experience was excellent from start to finish, with authentic, well-prepared dishes and a pleasant atmosphere. In short, a restaurant that offers top-notch quality at a fair price. 🟢 THE STANDOUT: The cacio e ova (cheese and egg) meatballs are delicious, and I recommend them. The ravioli with ricotta (80% sheep's milk, 20% cow's milk) are perfect. The rabbit was also very good and well-cooked. I also thought the arrosticini were well-made, but we didn't try them. 🟡 THE ATMOSPHERE: A welcoming place with meticulous attention to detail; the bathrooms were also worthy of note, as they were very clean. 🤵 THE SERVICE: Attentive, courteous, and always available service. They make you feel cared for without ever being intrusive. 💰 VALUE FOR MONEY: Excellent. We paid just €52 total for what we ate: the bill was more than fair and proportionate to the excellent quality offered. 🔧 ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT: Honestly, there's nothing to complain about; the experience was impeccable in every way. 📌 OVERALL: An excellent confirmation of authentic Abruzzo cuisine in Abbateggio.
