After a wonderful hike on Monte Tranquillo, we stopped for lunch at Morgana Farm, in the heart of Abruzzo... and it was a truly perfect choice!
The farm is spectacular, immersed in nature and surrounded by countless animals, creating a unique and authentic atmosphere.
We were welcomed by Simone, the owner: a special person, incredibly kind and truly passionate about his work. At the table, we tasted fantastic food, all carefully prepared by his wife Claudia, who is also a wonderful person. Authentic dishes, authentic flavors, and that feeling of being at home.
A highly recommended place for those seeking an authentic, simple, and one-of-a-kind experience.
We will definitely be back! ❤️🌿🐐

02/02/2026: Passing through Opi for an overnight stay, we dined at this traditional restaurant. It offers a typical mountain atmosphere in front of a roaring fireplace. The asparagus, pecorino, and sausage were excellent, as were the arrosticini, and my wife absolutely loved the chocolate cake. The hostess was very kind, and the waiter deserves special mention, a very polite and precise young man. We'll definitely be back.
07/09/2025: Clean place. We ate at the restaurant inside the campsite. Excellent food. The location is quaint and the staff are very friendly. Definitely recommended.

19/01/2026: It was a rainy day. We stopped at this place and sat down for a delicious coffee and a very good steak. The owner was very welcoming.
15/01/2026: Family restaurant. Excellent first courses, in fact, very good. Fettuccine with truffles. Excellent second courses. Very good prices. I recommend it. Courtesy. Very kind.

18/01/2026: The room, quite warm, is spacious, as is the bathroom, equipped with a large shower.
Breakfast is served in the property's bar, just below the rooms, and is truly excellent, both in quality and quantity.
The location is perfectly immersed in nature, with the river flowing nearby.
We loved the place, and the owner, Antonio, is very friendly.
The parking lot needs improvement, ruined by bad weather, but they are working on it.
02/01/2026: Stayed three nights for New Year's Eve. Friendly hosts, nice and clean rooms, very good breakfast. Overall, a great experience!

20/05/2025: Siamo arrivati alle 13.45 in 7, senza prenotare e non ci hanno fatto nessuna storia.
Cibo semplice, genuino, personale gentile.
Torneremo in estate per una notte nel vostro campeggio.
28/02/2025: Ristorante storico ad Opi, il posto esternamente è molto agricolo con animali caprette maialini oche cigni e quant’altro, molto simpatico e suggestivo ma tanto retrò.
Il ristorante è da rivedere, i ragazzi sono molto gentili e garbati la vecchia guardia è rimasta tropo vecchia ed i piatti del ristorante non sono da meno. Gli antipasti sono nella media ma non superano la sufficienza sicuramente voto 5, i primi niente di che voto 5, stessa cosa per i secondi.
Peccato veramente perché in zona si potrebbe fare tanto ma tanto di più.

The staff is very friendly. The menu is good and homemade...a little too much béchamel and cream. ☹️
The rooms are comfortable and clean. I recommend it to everyone. I would gladly return.
05/10/2025: Mountain hotel, very characteristic, located in the center of the village of OPI (one of the most beautiful villages in Italy) Strategic position for many activities (trekking, horseback riding, walks to see the surrounding villages) Very kind staff, I would return
