Recommended pizza for dinner
23/07/2026: A small restaurant in the beautiful historic center of Barrea. We had three first courses, each better than the last, and special arrosticini, never tasted so good. After all, when you have grilled meat, you win easily... Average prices. After trying several restaurants, even in nearby villages, we "hit the mark." Well done guys, keep it up.

24/05/2026: A very welcoming and family-friendly place, with very friendly staff. The meat arrosticini were delicious. We also tried the pizza, which was very good. The prices were more than reasonable.
There's also a parking lot.
06/05/2026: A well-deserved 5 stars. We dined at this restaurant with friends, and immediately felt welcomed as soon as we walked in. The staff were kind, friendly, and always attentive. High-quality ingredients and generous portions. Having children, we were able to try both the pizza and the pasta and main courses, all truly delicious.
A must-try if you're in the area.

01/06/2026: We found it at the last minute and at a time that promised to be empty, but thanks to the helpful and courteous staff, we were able to have lunch.
A very well-kept and renovated restaurant in a charming setting with brick and stone vaults, typical of the Abruzzo mountain villages; not to mention the delicious and well-served dishes.
Last but not least, the restaurant is pet-friendly; we have an Abruzzo sheepdog, so we had a great time and really appreciated the hospitality!
01/05/2026: Reaching the restaurant requires a short walk through the alleys after parking near the town hall. The atmosphere is quaint and charming, enhanced by the view of the lake just steps away. We tried the antipasto del borgo: dry fried foods, while cured meats and cheeses were average. The strozzapreti were less balanced, with the ricotta overpowering the other flavors. The arrosticini, on the other hand, were excellent, succulent and flavorful. The staff was friendly, although I would have appreciated a more detailed description of the dishes served at the table.

01/07/2026: Panoramic view that fills the eyes with beauty. Very clean and well-kept place. Very kind staff. Food up to what was previously written. To return.
28/06/2026: A very charming hotel, with a beautiful view of the lake, surrounded by greenery and complete tranquility. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. This is our second time back in a week.
We also had lunch, and the food was excellent. The chef has adapted some dishes from his menu to be vegan, with excellent and pleasant results.
We will definitely return.
Weather note: during this scorching heat, temperatures here are pleasant both day and night.

10/08/2026: Disappointing. I ordered an appetizer and a mixed roast with vegetables. The quality of the dishes was mediocre, and the service was slow. I found it to be worse than it was a few years ago.
27/07/2026: Poor food, cold cuts wafer style 11 euros for 10 very thin slices of cold cuts, rubbery bread, hard arrosticini, to finish in style a lame table, waiter absent in the room

Selezione di vini di qualità superiore accompagnati da prodotti tipici che deliziano il palato. Andateci e godetevi sapori autentici immersi in un contesto di scorci meravigliosi, accolti con il garbo e la straordinaria cultura enogastronomica (e non solo) del giovane titolare Giuseppe. Eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consigliatissimo!
