07/12/2025: Too much of everything, a truly authentic mega appetizer, spectacular meatballs and croquettes, not to mention the amazing selection of local cheeses. The first courses were excellent, lasagna and gnocchi with lamb ragù in bianco were special. It's definitely worth trying. Try it to believe it!! My word!

01/03/2026: This restaurant in the historic center of Barrea offers traditional Abruzzo dishes. The pasta with porcini mushrooms and truffles is spectacular, definitely the best I've had in the area. The tegomino appetizer is also excellent. They're dog-friendly, which is another plus. I highly recommend coming here; it was a wonderful lunch. This is our second visit and we'll definitely be back!

31/12/2025: Everything was excellent. The place is very traditional and welcoming, and the food is delicious. Try the gnocchi with orapi, the fantastic cacio e ova balls, and the superb arrosticini.

It's a shame that the location is wonderful, but the treatment I received is a far cry from that.
12/09/2025: Lunch. Good quality, but the cooking needs improvement: the pork main course wasn't cooked properly, which didn't live up to the quality.

24/01/2026: Sunday lunch, neither good nor bad... the homemade pasta (chitarra) was good, but the toppings left much to be desired: the ragù was nothing special, and above all, if I ordered polenta with tomato sauce and sausage (which cost a whopping €12!), I expected a sauce made WITH SAUSAGE... I can't get a simple polenta with tomato sauce WITH ROAST SAUSAGE CRUMBLED ON TOP!!! UNACCEPTABLE.
The service was friendly enough, but I still have some doubts about the difference between the prices listed on the menu and the (higher) ones actually paid at the register.

Selezione di vini di qualità superiore accompagnati da prodotti tipici che deliziano il palato. Andateci e godetevi sapori autentici immersi in un contesto di scorci meravigliosi, accolti con il garbo e la straordinaria cultura enogastronomica (e non solo) del giovane titolare Giuseppe. Eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consigliatissimo!
