I think it's fair to say that this pizzeria/restaurant is a must-visit for Ischia residents. The place is simple and welcoming, and the staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The fried foods are delicious, the pizza is good, and the meat is excellent. Fair prices.

Fantastic Uncle Peppe. I was born in Ischia but have lived abroad for several years with my husband. When I return, I try to stop by Uncle Peppe with my beloved family. It's always the same, keeping the same name, especially in practice. Over time, many places get lost in something... but here, the food is excellent, the pizzas are delicious and beautiful. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and clean. Thank you.

The photos don't do it justice: the dishes are rich and tasty. The service is fast and friendly. The prices are more than fair. In short, if you come to Ischia, this is the best place to eat fresh food at affordable prices. But you need to book because it's always busy with both locals and tourists.

Meating Sorrento

30/01/2026: We were satisfied after visiting Meating Sorrento on our last trip here. Now we ate some other dishes and everything was just as good - Food, drinks and service were without complaints. Large portions so you almost roll out of the restaurant afterwards. Spotlessly clean and perfect!
28/12/2025: If you're looking for a place with a tourist menu, forget it. If you're looking for authentic, masterfully crafted traditional Sorrento dishes, this is the place for you. The gnocchi alla sorrentina are excellent, the eggplant parmigiana sublime, and the meat is a 10. In short, thanks to Antonio for his excellent recommendation.
