Fantastic Uncle Peppe. I was born in Ischia but have lived abroad for several years with my husband. When I return, I try to stop by Uncle Peppe with my beloved family. It's always the same, keeping the same name, especially in practice. Over time, many places get lost in something... but here, the food is excellent, the pizzas are delicious and beautiful. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, and clean. Thank you.

The photos don't do it justice: the dishes are rich and tasty. The service is fast and friendly. The prices are more than fair. Very delicious food, good service, very friendly owner of a restraunt. Paella was very good, a lot of see food and perfect taste of rise. Tiramisu is very delicious, lovely taste. Highly recommended place!

He doesn't just "wait"—he's attentive, present without being intrusive, remembering customers' preferences and knowing how to recommend the right dish naturally, without forcing it. What's truly impressive is the attention to detail: a glass filled without having to ask, a dish served at the perfect time, a genuine smile even when the place is packed. There's professionalism, there's pace, and above all, there's passion. In a time when so many do this job "just for the sake of it," Genny stands out because he cares, and it shows. If you stop by Cortenova, let him take care of you: he'll make you feel like a guest, not just a customer.

19/09/2025: Gem of a restaurant! Probably the best meal we have enjoyed in Ischia and definitely the least expensive. If you want authentic Italian food prepared and served in a family-run restaurant, this is it! Plus it is close to a sandy beach. The lemon linguini, prawn risotto and zucchini flowers with ricotta were very special dishes. Six stars!!!!
