Zia Leunora In Pula

We ate at this tavern where we felt at home. We ate very well, in a relaxed atmosphere, where tourists (like us) and locals who have been coming for years mix together as if they were at home with the owners. The wine was as good as the food and the atmosphere made us stay for a drink and a chat more. Beautiful place that I recommend to anyone who passes by here!

Excellent cuisine with traditional dishes prepared to perfection. The raw fish dish was truly excellent with a wonderful tartare and excellent prawns. The starters and first courses are also really delicious and generous with portions. All in a very welcoming environment with an excellent selection of wines and attentive and polite service

Well-run fish restaurant. Because of the good description, we ate here twice within 3 days. Good selection of fish dishes, but also other dishes on the menu. We were served very competently and friendly by the waitress, who speaks English very well. All dishes tasted very good and were beautifully presented. The tiramisu was also excellent. If you want to eat here, be sure to make a reservation in advance as the restaurant is always full. We can definitely recommend the restaurant. The price/performance ratio is also correspondingly good. We'd love to come back if we're on holiday here.

Absolutely best restaurant in Pula..As a business owner I take reviews with a grain of salt .. we have good and bad ones .. but many more good than bad..I Read some less than pleasant reviews … not sure where they came from .. this is the real deal , the top dog , best place to eat n Pula bar none.. had the crudo di mare ( raw seafood antipasto) … having 2000 years of coastal Adriatic blood on my veins I’ve gotta say this felt just like home ! Fresh , delightful, perfect accompaniment by the citrus ! Want to lick the plate…had the fregula alle vongole ( fregula with clams ) … the perfect combination of delectable clams and the outstanding Sardinian pasta ( fregula ) ! Wow ! After being here for 3 days I’ve gotta say I’ve finally had a meal conducive to the superior artisanal ingredients ubiquitous to the area! I’m ecstatic! Do yourself a favour and come ! And btw the service is great for this part of the world ! .. your in sardegna, slow down and melt into the peace and tranquility The location is the so fitting.. off the beaten path down a thousand year old street.. with a lovely vaulted ceiling inside and a beautiful courtyard outdoors!

For the second year in Pula almost every evening at Zia Leunora, if you want to eat good fish it's a guarantee. Good value for money and plentiful dishes. We will definitely be back.

Surprised not to see more and better reviews of this place as we thought it was terrific, albeit that it's a little off the beaten track. So glad we booked as it was full when we visited, and interestingly, it seemed that everyone there other than us was Italian - which must say something for the cuisine. The menu is fish/seafood oriented and the food was excellent, complemented by an attractive setting and friendly service. Would happily visit again, and would certainly recommend.
