We booked a day in advance and got a nice table outside. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. My wife is coeliac so they presented her with a gluten free menu (which was almost the same as the main menu).
Worth a visit if you are in Lecce. Perhaps book in advance if you can!

I've had the pleasure of eating at Il Volo many times, and they've never disappointed me. The service is fast and efficient, and the staff is friendly and professional. They embody Lecce tradition through their consistently top-quality dishes.
I absolutely recommend it (and as a local!)
I can't wait to go back.

The food was very good. The lady serving us, due to a language communication problem that she can clearly have with anyone, brought us a dish we hadn't ordered. It was just a mix-up, but the way she handled it afterwards wasn't right, which is why we lowered the rating a couple of stars.

Good restaurant with a €24 set menu. The first course was nothing to complain about. The spaghetti alla poverella was delicious, but the second course was far too small. In our case, it was i pezzetti di cavallo, just four meager cubes of meat in sauce... a shame because it's really good. The à la carte dishes are generous.
The service is very slow. Everyone walks by and no one says anything. There's no bread to keep us waiting. They take away our olive oil right at the start of the meal. We didn't understand...
It's still a good experience, but it takes too long.

One of the waiters was very unfriendly.
They treat Italians and foreigners unequally.

Not very welcoming (we r gay).
Bread was dry & looked liked the leftover pieces.
We only ordered 3 dishes which were ok.
Definitely our least liked of the 3 dinner restaurants we tried.

Ristorante da visitare per gustare buoni piatti locali, ben amalgamati con buone materie prime, dall'antipasto al dolce. Ottimo anche il Primitivo di Manduria, corposo e avvolgente. Personale attento e professionale. Prezzi adeguati al locale e al posto. Simpatica la titolare, a cui piace viaggiare e da qui il nome del locale.
