The appetizers were very good, especially the eggplant parmigiana. The orecchiette with braciola definitely exceeded expectations.
The grilled octopus was too salty, but cooked very well (very tender).

Tradition, quality, and value...a guarantee!
Now one of the very few places where you can find traditional Bari dishes, cooked simply and deliciously, with an unmatched quality/price ratio, highly recommended.

Very nice place. Good octopus and sea food. Always very nice food and prices. White wine is also good.
Edit: Incorrect times. Restaurant opens at 19:30 so we had to wait outside.

Contrary to what's said here, the staff did try hard, but some of the food arrived incorrectly and not as ordered!

Nel primo giorno di maggio ci rechiamo a Bari per una gita fuori porta, chiediamo ad amici, se ci consigliano un posto carino, accogliente, nel cuore di Bari. E questa meravigliosa trattoria non deluso le nostre aspettative. La proprietaria gentilissima, con il suo saper fare da padrona di casa, ci ha riservato un posto nel pieno polmone pulsante di Bari.
Abbiamo mangiato un primo tipico, riso, patate e cozze davvero delizioso, la vera cucina pugliese. Pietanze fresche e cucinate con cura. Così i cavatelli ai frutti di mare ed altri primi. Anche i secondi deliziosi, il polipo grigliato al punto giusto, mentre la frittura fragrante e saporita. Torneremo sicuramente la prossima volta
