If you are looking for the real Bari tavern, you have found it! Quality, authenticity and excellent value for money. Professional staff, the owner deserves a special mention, as empathy is in her blood!

This historic tavern, open since 1870, is a true jewel for those who love authentic Apulian cuisine. We tried the tiella, the orecchiette and the horse brasciola, an unmissable specialty that I absolutely recommend trying. All dishes were simply delicious, full of traditional flavours. Plus, the prices are incredibly cheap. A culinary experience not to be missed for anyone visiting the area!

I liked it a lot. The orecchiette were excellent as were the cavatelli. Good cured meats. The owners are courteous. I'll be back.

I'm from Bari and I wasn't expecting anything exceptional... Instead we ate very well, very good brasciole with sauce and excellent cod. The wine is also good and priced honestly.

We liked dinner so much that we ate again and were not disappointed. Traditional Barese food with basic but quality products. Without a doubt a very good choice. Highly recommended.

Nothing to say about the excellent cuisine: chicory, rice, mussels, potatoes and broad beans and grilled octopus. Shame on the owner and her daughter? waitress who were not welcoming at all. Congratulations instead to Mr. Gennaro who looked after us and served us with calm and professionalism!

Rustic place where you can taste excellent Bari cuisine: from rice, potatoes and mussels, broad beans and chicory or delicious fried fish. The house wine is also good. I recommend it and plan to go back.

13/01/2025: Shopping & food ABBARI …. anche con le condizioni meteo avverse Bari ha il suo fascino … ristorante scelto da Dany ♥️ … location molto carina e accogliente … musica 🎵 top … personale gentile e professionale … tagliatelle funghi porcini e tartufo mantecate nella forma di parmigiano… stinco di maiale di purè patate ottimo … e per finire un tiramisù 💯… rapporto qualità prezzo giusto … da ritornarci 👍🏾
