The square is very beautiful and intimate: it doesn't seem to be in the center of Rome, between the Capitoline Hill and the ghetto. The time to have lunch or dinner out has already arrived, and this further amplifies Vinando's offer.
The staff are very kind and helpful, the menu is a little too narrow (saved, but only in the corner, from the dishes of the day), of a good standard, but without peaks upwards. Nice wine list, prices a little high for the quality of the food.

Estábamos buscando un buen lugar para comer comida italiana tradicional con amigos. Tratamos de evitar las trampas turísticas, que regularmente están cerca de atracciones famosas. Llegamos a este restaurante italiano, que está a unos 10 minutos a pie del Coliseo. Es genial. En un barrio agradable, los lugareños vienen aquí. Pasta recién hecha, deliciosas salsas, gran sabor. Tiene el ossobuco. Absolutamente delicioso. Muy recomendable.

Un délice. Très bon accueil pour un déjeuner très agréable. Adresse trouvée en déambulant en dehors des rues principales et pour le plus grand plaisir de nos papilles. En sus des plats et du vin, leur foccacia est un régal.

Went for lunch. Food was good, service was not and beware of the tip scam upon at bill payment.
Antipasti came AFTER the entree. server was aloof and did not seem concerned about service gaps, quality of food, told us the wine we ordered was unavailable until we pointed to the 20 bottles on the shelf. Bill came and it included service cover charge but was presented to us as "no tip is included " and credit card screen was set to add 20 percent of total (including tipping on cover charge). Plenty of places as good or better in vicinity.
