A splendid, tucked away location off the beaten path, reveals a beautifully shaded, naturally rustic setting and most importantly, a genuinely delightful dining gem in Porlezza. The service is warm, welcoming and friendly, the food is freshly prepared, presented enticingly and fabulously flavorful. Overall a completely enjoyable and memorable Italian experience, unconditionally recommended!

Nice environment. Very courteous and prompt staff. We ate the pizza which was not bad but not exceptional either. Honest prices.

Delicious dishes from Lombardy (I ate Osso bucco - excellent!), the people in the restaurant were very kind - particularly our waiter, who was German Parka, because he once lived in Germany.

We ate some fish and I didn't find much of it, the fish starter didn't seem very fresh to me, mixed fried food was a little better, good attention, but they could offer a coffee or a digestive, as well as a code to pay €7 which no one who was able to give us the answer to what it was.

Bel posto e si mangia davvero bene. Come antipasto ho preso 6 lumache però purtroppo 2 avevano solo il guscio. Come piatto principale mi sono deliziato col brasato d'asino e polenta: abbondante e buonissimo. Come dessert un'ottima crema catalana. La cena è stata accompagnata da un discreto rosé della casa. Personale gentilissimo e premuroso.

Heerlijk ongedwongen landelijk sfeertje. Gezellige en nette bediening. Het eten was heerlijk, ook diverse streekgerechten op de kaart met betaalbare prijzen.

01/01/2025: The food is always good at Barzaghin. A tradition that has been going on for decades has led to the extension of the small restaurant, with the annexation of an external, closed and air-conditioned veranda, which significantly increases its seating capacity. The cuisine includes mainly traditional Lombard dishes, but not fish. Value for money is always adequate, and it is advisable to book because, with good food, it is often fully booked.
