An absolutely magical dining experience! Essentiale on Lido offers not just a meal, but a front-row seat to Venice's lagoon beauty. Sitting right on the waterfront, we were treated to a stunning sea views that culminated in a breathtaking sunset– pure joy! This wasn't just dinner; it was easily one of the best meals we had in Italy. The star was undoubtedly the 1.2kg seabass– baked to perfection, incredibly fresh and simply superb. Every bite reflected the quality. What elevated the night even further was the truly amazing service – attentive and warm. Considering the exceptional location, the outstandingly fresh food, and the wonderful service, we found the prices very reasonable/average. From the sunset to the seabass to the staff, everything was exceptional. We will surely come again!

As a true Venetian, I would suggest a more traditional approach to seafood cuisine. The style of the previous season is much more appreciable. Service lives up to expectations. One-of-a-kind location.

Visited several times just for an aperitif. The view of the lagoon, especially at sunset, is beautiful. The outdoor terrace is quiet although not particularly well-kept, with dated furniture and slightly old-fashioned details. The service is friendly, but the prices are really exaggerated.

Holy expletive. The fish of the day was incredible! The caponata side paired perfectly. Beef carpaccio was a good starter. Limited menu, but it seems they know how to do what they do. Picked the place because of the pending sunset that I was determined to get a good seat for, and I would return for the food.
