My partner and I were looking for a nice, no-frills restaurant for dinner in Verona. Vescovo Moro turned out to be an excellent choice, meeting our expectations. The service was attentive but not intrusive. The waiters were all very friendly and welcoming. We chose the land tasting menu, drawing inspiration from the cuisine, but you could also choose your own itinerary from the menu. Traditional Venetian dishes with a few modern touches and Sardinian influences. The ingredients are top-quality. The land menu (€68 per person) consisted of 1. Venison tartare, salted hay ice cream, blueberry compote 2. Eggplant soup, burrata, and crispy bacon 3. Quail legs in cooking oil, creamy cannellini bean soup, meat stock 4. Tagliolini with mushrooms 5. Crispy suckling pig, couscous, morels 6. Caval pastisada with polenta For dessert, we ordered two desserts, not on the menu: 1. Pistachio world and its shot (€10) 2. Villagranca puff pastry with cold zabaglione (€8) For drinks, we ordered a glass of wine and a tasting of three glasses. The total bill was €185. The dinner was very good, and overall we had a good time. Recommended 😊

We visited this elegant and refined location for a company dinner. We immediately received a warm and friendly welcome, opening the event with a tasting of a glass of prosecco and a glass of red wine directly from their cellar, as the restaurant also boasts a well-stocked and refined wine cellar. I personally ordered "Fried octopus on a cream of legumes and a hint of citrus" for an appetizer, "Beef tartare, chopped capers and olives, egg yolk and mustard" for a main course, and "Villafranca puff pastry with cold zabaglione" for dessert. All dishes were truly fabulous, made with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients and expertly prepared. If you happen to pass through San Zeno, this will surely leave you surprised and satisfied.
