Vasco Da Gama In Brescia

Searching for an open restaurant last night was a bit difficult because of the holiday, but this place was open and packed. It’s on a beautiful little historic corner with other restaurants and it had a great menu. While the house wine left little to be desired they do have a good selection of bottled wines. And the food was perfect. We kept it simple and ordered steak and potatoes. It was DELICIOUS. The apple tart at the end of the night was also amazing. I highly recommend!

Good but too expensive compared to the quantities of the dishes. A 40cl beer 7 euros, too expensive

Ottima esperienza per una sosta pranzo veloce. Ottima idea il piatto unico del giorno. Molto buono. Prezzo abbordabile. Abbiamo mangiato uno sformato di verdure, verdure grigliate e degli gnocchetti ai funghi serviti rapidamente e molto buoni. Piatto unico a 16 euro.

Excellent experience for a quick lunch stop. Excellent idea for the main dish of the day. Very good. Affordable price. We ate a vegetable flan, grilled vegetables and mushroom gnocchi which were served quickly and very good. Single dish for 16 euros.

Not bad....for a quick and undemanding lunch......apparently low prices......

Very nice location and right in the center, good food, good service and fair price

The restaurant is typical/ancient inside and also has tables outside, it is located in the center of Brescia. The staff is friendly and smiling. Possibility of very good single dishes for the quality and with a very affordable price.

Located on a small, quiet square. Very pleasant service. On the other hand, as a starter, a warm parmiggiana. The mozzarella was even still cold in the dish. The tuna dish was good.

This restaurant is in my opinion iconic in every respect: - The food is great, with a large selection and great quality - The restaurant is extremely well-kept and welcoming, both outside and inside, with very characteristic and pleasant corners: this is facilitated by the historicity of the building in which it is located - Location: in the heart of Brescia with a view of the Broletto bell tower (this consideration is not valid for all tables) - Good service, friendly and fairly quick waiters, above all there are a sufficient number of them to follow the tables The prices are adequate, so not low but not excessive either

We had the pleasure of dining twice at Vasco Da Gama during our recent visit to Brecia, Italy. We went back the second time because everything about the first dinner was beyond fantastic. The food, the service, the atmosphere... 5 stars across the board. Our first dinner was outside on a very nice June evening; dinner number two was inside on a rainy night. It would be difficult to say one was better than the other! Outside on the sidewalk is people watching heaven, inside is very quiet and romantic! Magda was our waitress both evenings, what a gem! Fantastic service, from helping us find our way through the menu, to serving and cleaning off the table, waters always filled... she worked very hard and was so very pleasant. We mainly had the fish dishes, the best being the potato crusted gilthead (sea bream). The wine list is very good, bubbles from Franciacorta, Italy both evenings. Superb place. Highly recommend Vasco Da Gama if you're ever in the area!
