Ho vissuto i tempi d’oro del bar Vanni ( dagli anni 60) perché nato e vissuto a via Monte Zebio. Ricordo un bar di classe e di alto livello. Oggi è la caricatura di quello che era. La nuova generazione dei Vanni hanno tentato di cavalcare le nuove generazioni , ma sono stati disarcionati.

La pasticceria di Vanni è superlativa: ne ho provati tanti, ma il cornetto vegano di Vanni è tra i migliori a Roma, ha un impasto che si scioglie in bocca superlativo, unico. Anche tutti gli altri lieviti sono eccellenti. Le torte sono indubbiamente care ma ottime. Complimenti a tutti i pasticceri e a un locale che è sempre, sempre aperto ed è un punto di riferimento: non lascia mai solo il cliente.

It’s a pleasant stop for a quick treat in the heart of the city.
13/02/2025: Good cannoli and ice cream but too expensive compared to places next door. The name does not make everything to increase the prices.

29/08/2025: Great location, good food and staff are lovely. Not sure what all the negative reviews are about but looking at the dates, and with it being the jubilee year can only imagine a lot of these street based restaurants get overloaded, which can’t be helped. Give this place a chance, we had a pizza and a Caesar salad, both good, and the staff couldn’t have done enough for us today. Also it’s in a phenomenal spot, just far enough from the pantheon to enjoy conversation, and close enough to enjoy the area.
23/08/2025: The food was good, though nothing spectacular. The location is very nice. I really don't like how the waiters are always trying to attract people, but in a very intrusive way.
