We went to the Van Gogh pizzeria during our trip to Matera. We were looking for a place in the center and we came across this place where we could taste their pizzas, excellent in terms of dough and ingredients used. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the service is fast despite so many people in the room.

I have always eaten pizza and some snacks and I have always found everything good. They decided to test the restaurant too. The service is absolutely impeccable.

Pizza 10 e lode, nel freddo di Matera abbiamo trovato un oasi al caldo ed all'insegna del buon cibo. 2/3 volte al max ho provato una pizza così buona, a testimonianza che gli ingredienti del posto sono un tesoro culinario enorme.
Staff meraviglioso, torneremo sicuramente.

Convenient restaurant in a car park in Via Lucana, excellent welcome, courteous, fast and friendly staff who make you feel at home, especially for those who come from km 1000 like me, traditional Lucanian cuisine fully respected.
I have gone several times and will return
Bartolo, the owner is the key figure (as it is), who knows how to give that touch of welcome to give the customer a reason to return.

Everything perfect, from service to dinner. Adequate account. The location of the restaurant is very nice, right in the center, near the Sassi.

In these 2 days spent in Matera, I came across this pizzeria which first of all deserves 5 stars for the friendliness, kindness and education of both the owner and the waiters and the delicious pizza they make... To return and absolutely recommend!
