We went to the Van Gogh pizzeria during our trip to Matera. We were looking for a place in the center and we came across this place where we could taste their pizzas, excellent in terms of dough and ingredients used. The staff is very helpful and friendly and the service is fast despite so many people in the room.

Convenient restaurant in a car park in Via Lucana, excellent welcome, courteous, fast and friendly staff who make you feel at home, especially for those who come from km 1000 like me, traditional Lucanian cuisine fully respected.
I have gone several times and will return
Bartolo, the owner is the key figure (as it is), who knows how to give that touch of welcome to give the customer a reason to return.

In these 2 days spent in Matera, I came across this pizzeria which first of all deserves 5 stars for the friendliness, kindness and education of both the owner and the waiters and the delicious pizza they make... To return and absolutely recommend!

Good morning, I highly recommend this restaurant, we ate very well, we were welcomed very well. Even though we hadn't booked, the owner and the staff were truly hospitable and also quick. The place is truly enchanting, there is a large fresco on the wall that leads to the internal room REPRESENTATIVE MATERA. The OWNER pampered us from start to finish offering us a truly excellent service, thanks for everything, we'll see you again soon.

ristorante, pizzeria Top..partendo dall'interno della location di cui allegherò video, con rappresentazioni di quadri famosi di giovani artisti, l'esterno.. parla da sé centro storico di Matera, abbiamo mangiato pizza.. vi consiglio, le pizze d'autore in particolar modo la Giotto. Personale divertentissimo ed attento. se dovessi ricapitare so dove andare a mangiare!!! 😊
