08/02/2025: Quality.. Price... Excellent... And then the manager Lorenzo is a legend
31/01/2025: I frequent the Trattoria Pizzeria "Sempione" da Lorenzo in Pero and I have known the owner for many years and I can say with reasonable caution but with conviction that it has now become a "historic" place. And I think this isn't the first review I've done. The not very large room appears clean and tidy, very welcoming with numerous crests and calendars of the FF.OO on the walls. It is a simple restaurant, without too many frills, and is ideal for both a quick business lunch and a relaxed dinner with family or friends. The atmosphere is friendly, courteous, very welcoming and the service is quick and attentive. The owner is passionate about his work and you can see it from the smile with which he welcomes customers and from his great communicative ability. The kitchen offers various dishes of both meat and fish. The pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven, is excellent, carefully prepared so that it does not get burnt on the base. At lunch, for the break of those who work, fixed price menus are offered within 15 euros. In the evening the menu is à la carte. From spaghetti with clams, to pescatore, to mezzamaniche, to shrimp and courgette risotto. All very good. Second courses of grilled meat, fish and fried foods. The desserts are packaged and the offer is varied. The quality/price ratio is excellent, both for the goodness of the dishes and the generosity of the portions. Spending an evening at Lorenzo's is an experience for the palate and the spirit given the friendliness and good humor that Lorenzo exudes. A mention also to Mrs. Tina, present only at lunch, because if Lorenzo is the driving force of the place, the engineer is the lady. The experience is recommended, those who do it will come back sooner or later.
