Il posto é piccolo ma molto carino in un piccolo borgo stupendo . Il cibo molto buono , pasta fatta in casa . Ledegustazioni sono giuste non ci si alza con la fame . Un oo lenti nel servizio .. ho visto che il cuoco serve anche quindi sono all'inizio piano piano si organizzeranno meglio . Non do 5 stelle perché il proprietario ci é risultato un po pesante per tutta la "scena" che presenta, soprattutto per chi si vuole godere una cena in tranquillità. Ripeto però cibo ottimo

Chef Diego is a wonderful place, even more so with his refined and quality cuisine, all united by his passion for cooking.
I recommend it to anyone who wants to taste divinely cooked DOC Umbrian products

Beautiful historic center, a very charming little village and (finally) without the presence of mass tourism! The restaurant is a wedding favor, a few tables outside and the same number inside. It's called Umbria D.O.C. , the C stands for "peasant" as the girl who served us told us. Everything they need is zero kilometre. They also make homemade pasta. Very good! Even the courgette flowers, mouth-watering. Don't underestimate the parking which is private and a stone's throw from the restaurant.

I hardly give 5 stars: perfection is only Divine, but they all fit here!
The "location" (as the good ones say) is characteristic and cared for with a refined touch that is not excessive and does not ruin the atmosphere.
The service, or rather the PEOPLE, make the difference with courtesy, kindness and competence.
Food is poetry: chef Diego enchants and also explains the magic to you!
Arriving for the first time and feeling at home thanks to Eleonora, always present, smiling and never intrusive.

Eight of us had an excellent dinner under the stars at a table set out in the tiny picture perfect main street in ‘old’ Mantignana. All the ingredients and the wine are local and the testing menus are excellent. Our favourite this time was Sotto Bosco with lots of truffle. Diego , the charismatic owner and chef, recommended a very good Montefalco Rosso and a nice crisp local white.
