Umbria DOC - Taverna Dei Sapori In Corciano

During our holiday, on the advice of the manager of our stay, Le Case Di Lisetta, we had a delicious meal at Umbria D.O.C. twice. Fantastic place, delicious dishes from the area, fantastic Pasta, Tiramisu or Chocomousse, very friendly staff and a fantastic chef. Definitely recommended.

A very hot evening in this heavy August that locks you in the house in the dark and with the air conditioner on. But the desire to go out prevails and this time it was worth it! We are located in the historic center of Mantignana in a small typical Umbrian stone village. A few houses overlooking a narrow street that opens into a final arch. Here in the summer the tables are prepared along the street to then find refuge in a internal room when autumn begins. The equipment is basic but of good taste and colour, the service is quick, courteous and discreet. The dishes are those of the Umbrian tradition with touches of originality and personal reinterpretation. The local raw materials are top quality, chosen with love, professionalism and research. Wide choice and excellent execution. Deconstructed parmigiana, overcooked wild boar in wine, pappardelle that spoke ... excellent choice of wines, all accompanied by advice and the friendly and competent presence of the good Diego who follows you throughout the meal. What can I say to try and try again in an always satisfying experience of taste, sight, smells but also of the heart...

Very very cute. Located in the center of a small town that almost looks like a nativity scene.. characteristic.. cute.. the food is very good..

It deserves 10 stars but the limit imposed by Google is 5... Although the restaurant was not open for lunch (Google error in transcribing the times) chef Diego still welcomed us with enthusiasm and made us sit inside. In a short time he delighted us with his dishes, describing them with the same passion and care with which he prepares them. Approach and balancing flavors from another category and quality raw materials. Everything delicious, from the appetizers, to the handmade pasta up to the homemade desserts. If you pass through these parts, a stop in this Umbrian restaurant D.O.C. it's a must.

Highly recommended restaurant. Umbrian cuisine of peasant origins, revisited in an incomparable way by Chef Diego. Selected ingredients from the area and handmade pasta. A very welcoming place, in summer you can eat outdoors in the charming alleys of the Mantignana Castle. Personally I consider it one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at.

Delicious food in a beautiful, quiet location among Italians!👌 Menu in Italian but they speak good English to explain it. Start with the chef's various dishes (great), then delicious pasta and end with excellent tiramisu!

We had been recommended this place by our host in the villa we were staying in and it certainly did not disappoint. Both food, service and atmosphere were fantastic! Can only recommend this place - also with children!

Place located in a small village surrounded by absolute tranquility. The owner Diego met us at the door. Wide choice and VERY HIGH quality of food, with more than honest prices. We will definitely be back as soon as possible!!

Eight of us had an excellent dinner under the stars at a table set out in the tiny picture perfect main street in ‘old’ Mantignana. All the ingredients and the wine are local and the testing menus are excellent. Our favourite this time was Sotto Bosco with lots of truffle. Diego , the charismatic owner and chef, recommended a very good Montefalco Rosso and a nice crisp local white.

Locale molto intimo dove il buon cibo la fa da padrone assieme alla personalità dello Chef. Le proposte sono delle piccole opere d'arte. Anche se un po' costoso è una tappa fissa delle serate con la mia metà.
