U' Curdunn In Locorotondo

We had dinner in this restaurant on January 6th and were pleasantly impressed not only by the quality of the dishes and the raw materials, but also by the courtesy of all the dining room staff. This is truly rare, especially during the holidays. I recommend this restaurant to everyone and my family and I will certainly come back to visit you. Compliments!

We ate at U Curdunn twice while staying in Locorotondo and had outstanding experiences both times. Reservations are recommended, though they were able to fit us in as walk-ins in the off season. The restaurant is in a typical Apulian cellar with gorgeous vaulted ceilings and stonework, and it was warm and cozy inside on cool November evenings. We tried a variety of dishes over both meals and every single thing we had was wonderful, this is really a place where you can't go wrong with your order. The most memorable item was an appetizer sampler type thing that was a total of 7 local dishes! The service was excellent and they made great recommendations of food and wine (Monte Dei Cocci negroamaro - seriously the best wine.) My husband was also happy to be able to try a cavallo steak, which I don't believe was on the menu but was available when he asked. Their house made limoncello was also fantastic, with a unique hint of basil. 10/10 experience all around and highly recommended!

Typical restaurant located in the historic center of Locorotondo. Welcoming environment and friendly, helpful staff. Typical quality Apulian cuisine. Fair value for money

It was worth the wait!!! A very pleasant and atmospheric restaurant. Very good local dishes. Large selection of wines. Friendly and cheerful service. I recommend !!!

Hi everyone. I only write positive reviews. To counter this world populated by haters. I like to seek serenity and pass it on to those who want to follow me. Even in food. This isn't the first time I've been to U Curdunn. Complete variety despite entering the second round, which doesn't usually happen to me. Physiological waiting. Excellent service from Morena Domenico and Paolo. Really quality food. I noticed this especially with the bowler hats. Spectacular location. Pumpkin fusilli to try. Like everything else. My compliments to Roberto.

Cozy and very nice place, Domenico very kind and smiling was able to advise us and guide us in choosing the food. Delicious gluten-free orecchiette with pumpkin and mushrooms.

Excellent restaurant, genuine products and traditional Apulian cuisine. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is located in one of the alleys of the historic center, absolutely worth trying.

We ate very well on Christmas Eve: various appetizers – I particularly liked broad beans and chicory and the sausage with cardoncelli. Excellent wine, first courses (with truffles) and meat (lamb and rabbit). Nice atmosphere and thanks for the best panettone from the chef!
