L'Osteria di Monteverde In Roma

15/05/2026: I went to this place last night for the first time, on a blind date... and I think I finally understand why all my friends advise against it 😂 Unfortunately, the evening wasn't the best, and the person I was with definitely didn't help either. Fortunately, however, I can leave a wonderful review for the staff and for who I believe was the owner, whom I later met at the cash register when it came time to get the bill. They were truly friendly and kind throughout the evening. I almost apologize to them for the unpleasantness of my date 😅 Otherwise, we ate very well, and the atmosphere was truly pleasant. Thank you so much for putting a smile on my face on an evening that honestly didn't have high expectations of doing so. 🤣 I'm sure I'll return to this place with my friends, who will definitely be better company 😊

09/05/2026: Very nice and welcoming place. I sat outside, but the strength of this place is the food and service, in that order. Alternative options include cauliflower nuggets with homemade mayonnaise, a fried truffled potato, and the deconstructed eggplant. I wasn't crazy about the Prosecco I chose, nor the fact that outside, people smoke and ruin the atmosphere for others, even if it's not fully ventilated.
