A quaint, very Roman place (despite the crowds). I went with my family and we were more than satisfied. We started with puntarelle, which I've never tasted so good in my life, and a sautéed chicory that melted in the mouth. We continued with rigatoni con la pajata, which I absolutely recommend, and finished with delicious lamb chops, since it was the day before Easter. To finish, we enjoyed a homemade tiramisu. We weren't lucky because there was a chef missing that day, and the service was slow. We'll definitely be back.

A very warm welcome, a friendly atmosphere, and the servers know how to make you feel at ease. The service is excellent, as are the dishes, which are superb. Very good value for money, and a special mention for the very tasteful playlist. We had a wonderful time!

Best osteria in Rome. Pay special attention to the wine list; they have fabulous Oranges.
The lamb is, I think, the best I've ever tasted.

A great place, very local, in a typically residential neighborhood. They specialize in the so-called "fifth quarter," or unusual cuts of meat. And honestly, they're exceptional at it! Be sure to book a place and drive that little bit out of the city center—it's totally worth it. We had wonderful tongue with a perfect consistency and a refreshing green salsa; wonderful handmade pasta with an intense and umami-packed oxtail sauce; and a vegetarian dish—pasto with artichokes—which was simple but full of flavor. In some Roman osterias in more touristy neighborhoods, I sometimes felt like they needed more seasoning. Here, everything was spot on—every ingredient at the heart of the dish was showcased; everything was simple, balanced, seasoned to perfection, and perfectly prepared. We each had a glass of wine with dinner—organic, excellent quality, and very reasonably priced. Service - Our waiter's English was mediocre, which was a minor drawback, making it difficult for him to interact with us. However, the other waiter, a dark-haired guy with a beard—I think Diego—is the true heart and soul of this place. His excellent product knowledge, Italian hospitality, and energetic service, along with his smile, create a warm atmosphere even if he doesn't serve you directly. We were thrilled, and if we return to Rome—and we definitely will! We'll definitely visit Trecce again. Best regards from Krakow! 🤌❤️ You made our evening epic!

We ate here, and they serve regional Roman cuisine. The food was okay. Unfortunately, the drink selection is very limited, especially for people who don't drink alcohol. Basically, there's only water or wine. The service was also minimal, doing only the bare minimum without being particularly attentive. Overall, it was okay, but there's room for improvement.
