The food was good, but not wow-worthy. I had the trofie with pesto and mixed fried fish. The pesto was good, but nothing exceptional. The fried fish was limited, but good. Service was quick, and the price was in line with what we ate.

An excellent restaurant serving typical Genoese cuisine! The staff is young and attentive. Truly remarkable, polite, precise, and helpful. The place is quaint. Excellent cuisine: the light and balanced fried food, the melt-in-the-mouth focaccia, and the mandilli with pesto, to boot (the pasta is fresh and artisanal).
The wine list is interesting.
Did I already say the service was impeccable? Well, I'll say it again.
The bathrooms, upstairs, were clean.
My only complaint, certainly not a negative one but a tip from a loyal customer, is that I would have charged less than €2 for the coffee. But again, a tip.

We ate there for the whole stay: 2 dinners and 2 lunches, everything was excellent, the waiters were very friendly and the cuisine was excellent.

A comfortable and friendly place, with truly wonderful staff, that alone is worth the dinner.
However, the space is very small and there are so many tables: when the place is full, it becomes a bit chaotic and difficult to move around. Sometimes you can't even move your chair a few centimeters. It would be advisable to remove a few tables to make the atmosphere more livable.
The food is good and fresh. The prices are a bit higher than those of a trattoria, but the quality is definitely superior, so I'd say that's understandable.
Definitely recommended. I would gladly return, but not on busy days like Friday evenings or holidays.
