We were at Cappricios Cafe Restaurant in Cefalu, Giuseppi the chef/owner recommended Altri Tempi. We are songlad he did. Off the strip, a very "locals" restaurant, and we were there only "Travellers" in the very full restaurant. We got there at 2:30 and there was a 3 couple wait. I had a mixed salad with meatballs and sausage, Janet had Seafood Risotto. Both were amazing. Get off the strip and make your way to this wonderfully spot. Oh...did I tell you? They brought the menu over with a basket of bread and a 1/2 litre of free red wine.

10/10/2025: An evening in Palermo at a real pizzeria! 🍕 A welcoming and authentic atmosphere, truly delicious pizza, and reasonable prices. The place was packed, with many people waiting: a sign that they really know their craft. A simple yet high-quality place, where you can breathe in the authentic Palermo atmosphere.
07/10/2025: We celebrated (half) my son's birthday at this place, at his recommendation, as he had been there before. After spending €150 for two appetizers, six pizzas, and six cans of drinks, we weren't allowed to open the bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine I had brought with me. So we celebrated his birthday at home, even bringing the cake back with us, something that had never happened at other places in the city.

I Cucci Bakery Sweet & Salty

09/12/2025: Excellent experience, very good food. Alessandro was a very friendly guide and we were happy with his recommendations.
30/11/2025: nice service but overpriced so-called tourist trap for 2x espresso, cannoli and tiramisu we left 18€ here, in Palermo there are much more affordable cafes and especially with tastier products.
