This medium size restaurant has such tremendous character, pleasant environment and delicious food! The love of the food and the restaurant is evident among all of the staff. The extras provided here and there convey their pleasure in serving you a fabulous meal.
Do not pass up on the dessert course (€5) which is a lovely array of fruit, pastries and homemade liqueurs. This is not your bathtub stuff, these are delicious, smooth and flavorful digestives.
This is a culinary and cultural experience you should not miss. Completely enjoyable.

There were 10 of us, a table of friends, the kind, knowledgeable and quick dining room staff put us at ease and allowed us to calmly choose the dishes. The appetizers are excellent, as are the first courses, with second courses being the cod and sardines, all masterfully prepared dishes of the Sicilian culinary tradition. Finally, the dessert and cicchettini based on rosemary, lemon and citrus liqueurs, all very good, kindly offered by the house. Online price. Fully satisfied.

We were looking for a non-touristy restaurant where the people of Palermo go. There he is,
local dishes,
good,
generous rations and, not to be taken for granted, no digestive problems. Let yourself be guided but be careful, you will hardly be able to eat the first and second starters. You will have to come back to try what you didn't eat the previous time.
Unfortunately we discovered it at the end of our stay in Palermo.

Excellent food cooked with love, according to Palermo tradition. Excellent welcome. Very kind staff and manager, friendly but also professional. Their liqueurs offered at the end of the meal are not to be missed. To be recommended.

If you want to try real traditional Sicilian food this is the place. The cuisine is simple (as in homemade.) But you do get the real taste of Palermitano cuisine. Plates are copious and the free house wine refill is the nice touch, plus the three types of homemade limoncello are the perfect way to end a chill dinner. I very strongly recommend the tasting menu! However service can sometimes be unequal depending on how busy the restaurant is. But they are usually very friendly.
Very filling. Typical Sicilian restaurant. Excellent typical dishes. Super tasting in quantities that you won't be able to finish... :-)

The second time I am in Palermo and I go to lunch in this typical Palermo trattoria if you want to stop the time in tasting the dishes of the past but purely with the flavors of the past and a real meeting point, you will find welcoming staff and above all everything is abundantly good... Il posto ideale per 11 compagni di liceo di più di 30 anni fa, per ritrovarsi, chiacchierare, ricordare, ridere, vociare e allo stesso tempo deliziarsi con le vere prelibatezze culinarie di Palermo. Abbiamo scelto l'opzione della "degustazione": tutto abbondante, completo, buono. Dalla pasta cull'anciuova, a quella con le sarde e poi anche con i broccoli arriminata. Come secondi salsiccia, stinco e i meravigliosi involtini alla palermitana. Strepitosi i numerosi antipasti, tra cui mussu e carcagnuolo, caldume (❤️) e fave a cunigghiu! Per un binomio perfetto di bontà e convenienza. Servizio rapido, efficace ed efficiente. I gestori nostri "complici" nell'accettare, e talvolta partecipare, al nostro vocìo divertito e coinvolgente. Tutto perfetto. Torneremo sicuramente! Grazie!

Ristorante dove è possibile gustare le prelibatezze della cucina tradizionale palermitana.
Antipasti abbondanti e buonissimi.
I secondi sono quelli tipici palermitani con sapori che ricordano i piatti cucinati dalle mamme e dalle nonne.
Ottimi i liquori fatti in casa: finocchietto, allorino e limoncello.
