If you want to eat cheaply and very traditionally in Florence, I can recommend this restaurant. We got in line about 15 minutes before opening and got a seat straight away.

Do not go here so that it stays a well-kept secret! (It really isn't.) A cozy, traditional trattoria very popular with the locals, serving classic fare but executed in superior fashion. There will be a queue before it opens (maybe get there half ab hour early to be among early diners), and it seemed full the entire time I was there. The portions and prices are right, so don't be afraid to go the antipasto-primo-secondo-contorno way. I had tagliatelle al sugo and vitello arrosto (delicious, with lots of fresh rosemary flavor) accompanied by patate arrosto, and finished with a delicious pecorino. What a find - thank you to my host!

The last truly Florentine trattoria in the city. Definitely not recommended if you are in a hurry due to the waiting times; however, the wait will certainly be repaid by the convivial atmosphere and the binges that always escape us here. This place is a real treat, with traditional dishes at popular prices. For me, eating here means understanding how much and why I love my city. Entering this legendary trattoria, you always have the impression of being guests in an ancient house in San Frediano. Recommended for those who really want to experience the city, Viva Sabatino!

It's like being invited to your friends grandmothers place. It's a little loud but in a "come, eat" sort of way.
No Reservations. We suggest going on a weekday and getting there 30min before they open to be early in the lineup. They usually get through the line, but it also sucks waiting outside if you don't have to. You may be seated at a table with others. We got to chatting with a couple from New Hampshire and a girl from Paris. It was a lovely experience!

Don't be put off by the queue! This restaurant is well worth the wait. It feels like a traditional family-run place, with a short daily menu of fresh simple dishes. Delicious food and tasty house wine in a cheerful, bustling environment.

Consiglio vivamente di andare con molto anticipo poiché non vengono prese prenotazioni. Osteria fiorentina dove si mangia quel che si trova già nel menù, ci si siede un po' ovunque e sì con degli sconosciuti per cui il locale risulta affollato e un po' disorganizzato nei tempi di attesa. Per il prezzo economico non posso lamentarmi per ciò che ho mangiato ma visto che si punta sulla quantità non ho trovato la vera qualità fiorentina.

Típica cantina italiana, comida surpreendente, pois apesar da simplicidade, deliciosa. Qualidade impressionante dos ingredientes, pra se ter uma experiência verdadeiramente italiana. Chegue cedo, 19:15 já tem fila na frente, mas vale a pena. Única coisa que deixa um pouco a desejar é o serviço (garçons são um pouco rudes e impacientes, mas ainda assim vale a pena). Vinho da casa é um pouco alcoólico mas pelo preço, vale a pena. Se a descrição ajudou, curte por favor.
