Trattoria Sabatino is family. You can feel it everywhere. It's a classic family trattoria, serving authentic, simple dishes from grandmother's kitchen. The portions are just right and the prices are truly reasonable. Add to that the fact that you're sharing a table with complete strangers who become acquaintances. I shared my table with a family from France. Eternally grateful for the blessings I've received.

The trattoria offers traditional dishes at reasonable prices. You often find yourself sitting at a table with other strangers. Reservations are not accepted, and it's often crowded. We ate well, trying various dishes. I recommend it as an experience in Florence.

Ideal for a typical Tuscan meal! The brasserie atmosphere is impressive. The dishes aren't generous, which justifies the low prices. However, the quality is excellent! I recommend ordering primi pies and secondi pies instead of dessert 😊 The dining room is spacious and airy, although a little noisy, and the service is fast.

People come here to try the Florentine steak cooked to perfection, the beans that speak of rural tradition, and the ever-present Tuscan antipasti that open the table with simplicity and flavor. But the menu also offers more humble and reassuring surprises, like minestrone soups, and finishing with cantuccini dipped in vin santo is a ritual not to be missed. It's not a three-Michelin-star restaurant, and it doesn't claim to be. Sabatino's philosophy is all there: authentic dishes, generous portions, fair prices. The restaurant has a special soul, reminiscent of lunches at grandma's in the 1960s, when people ate slowly and with a smile. The service is attentive and warm, despite the dining room always being packed with loyal and curious customers. The only practical advice: arrive a few minutes before opening, as the wait can be up to 45 minutes. But it's worth it, because at Sabatino you don't just eat dinner: you experience a piece of authentic Florence.

Delicious restaurant located in a local neighbourhood. Traditional Italian feel - not a tourist hub. Food was fantastic, service very friendly, and prices more than fair. We enjoyed everything we ate - and cannot recommend this place enough. We enjoyed spaghetti, zucchini, chicken, and prosciutto. We would love to come back!

Me and my partner went here while we stayed in Florence for a few days and it was a highlight of our visit. We went for dinner one night, needed to wait in a line for about 30-40 minutes (we arrived about 15- minutes before they opened). I would suggest showing up 30 minutes before they open. The service and atmosphere was incredible, people were getting sat beside others in a.l family style dinner. The service was 10/10 and the food was great, but best of all it was very affordable- we had a feast and ended up spending 30 euro..(including a half litre of wine). We liked it so much we went back for lunch the next day- the lines were way shorter, but it was the exact same experience. I would recommend going here for lunch vs. dinner if you can because it was an awesome experience.

Posto carino e personale gentile. Qui cercano di sfruttare tutti i posti a sedere e capita che facciano condividere il tavolo tra sconosciuti. Cibo buono e prezzi molto onesti. Consiglio!

Acabo de volver de cenar allí. Lugar auténtico, multi-generacional familiar - dirigido. Uno - menú de paginación, buena opción de cocina italiana. Una espera de 45 minutos bajo la lluvia vertiente valió la pena la experiencia. Personal amable, comida de alta calidad y precios absolutamente justos. También tienen un pequeño punto de venta donde se puede comprar sal, aceite de oliva, pasta, jabón, libros, etc. Buen toque.
