We had an excellent Florentine steak and good first courses. The atmosphere is welcoming. The staff is helpful and friendly... we made friends like my friends. I'd happily recommend it.

This is a lovely trattoria near the SMN train station. The gnocchi was the best I've tasted and the coffee was really good. The staff are very kind and helpful.

The food is quite good, however the prices are high: €8 for a green salad, without dressing, with four tomatoes... €10 for tiramisu, eaten in four spoonfuls... So the quality/quantity ratio is not in line. No bread was served at the table.

Very sweet garden room in the back. There is no lunch menu. Friendly host and server. Bread at the table. Had to ask for oil salt pepper. We ordered two smaller entrees braised beef with bean puree which was all knuckles and fat & absolutely not what was pictured on the menu (I should have sent it back) and stuffed chicken breast with potatoes. Average and ok. A glass of house wine and beer. €80. Steak Florentino seemed the popular choice for other diners. Lesson in Florence. If there are pictures on the menu you are sitting in a tourist trap restaurant.

04/04/2026: In the space of the shop next door, a pleasant table to sit, listen to, and eat. The owner is passionate, and he gives himself to his customers with great enthusiasm, sharing his enthusiasm with you. A journey that began a few years ago, but which keeps the fire and passion alive. The dishes are carefully crafted; we tried several, and they were all delicious (tuna, cod, fried fish, etc.). A special mention goes to the panna cotta. We also have a long history tied to a wall of bitters, but let me tell you about that in person ;)

Lowengrube - Limite Sull'Arno

28/03/2026: Wonderful evening! The place was warm and welcoming, and the staff was truly kind and efficient! The young lady who welcomed us (we thought she was the owner) was incredibly kind and friendly! We found out about them through a Wonderbox! A unique experience... Prosecco to welcome us... a true Bavarian beer hall, with excellent food and beer! Five stars more than deserved!
13/03/2026: A very excellent restaurant; all the dishes were delicious. The only flaw was that the food took a while to arrive.
