Trattoria Rispoli In Amalfi

I've been to this trattoria before under the previous management, and the quality and flavor of the dishes are beyond question; everything is excellent. But I have a few comments regarding the quantity and price: €20 for a plate of pasta a genovese with 10 rigatoni, €24 for a lamb main course with three pieces, and in total €180 for four people: a first course, a second course, two side dishes, a half-liter of wine, and two bottles of water. I'm not arguing with the price, given the location and the day (New Year's Day), but with the quantity of the dishes.

Highly recommended. The mixed antipasto platter is generous and features typical local flavors. Vittorio is a truly attentive and genuine host. The pasta alla genovese we shared after the appetizer was also exquisite. Not to mention the lemon tiramisu, a real treat... a complimentary liqueur to finish.

Vittorio is a wonderful person. He made us feel at home right away. We arrived almost at closing time, and he still treated us impeccably!!! Top-quality food served with the passion and sweetness typical of an osteria with a capital O. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We went there today for lunch for our anniversary, what can I say, everything was magnificent... well done, absolutely recommended, we will be back soon.

Nestled in the charming atmosphere of a small village on the Amalfi Coast (Pogerola), there's this restaurant with a glass window overlooking the landscape of Ravello, made up of hills and houses. The staff was extremely kind and welcoming, and the food was delicious. I had the cutlet with potatoes, and it was truly delicious. The other people I was with had the pasta with sausage and mushrooms, and the gnocchi, and everything was equally good. Then we tried the eggplant parmigiana, which was truly delicious. And at the end of the meal, they offered us mandarin oranges and peanuts. And the bill was truly surprising. We paid €23 each. Given the way I was treated, the location, and the food, I would have spent even more. So I'd say everything was perfect. Highly recommended. If you can, go; it'll be worth it.
