I loved it! We were looking for a place that served typical dishes and were attracted by the excellent reviews. The place is very informal, we found the food very good with generous portions, what totally won us over was above all the friendliness and professionalism of the service. When we are in this area we will definitely return!

A beautiful dinner in a beautiful place. Puin surprised me. The manager is a friendly and nice person, the environment is warm and welcoming. You feel at home here. I definitely recommend this place to all people who want to have a pleasant evening!

We found this place by chance and we must say it was super lucky! Super comfortable environment, friendly and kind staff, excellent food and perfect prices! One of those places that you really remember and want to go back! Staff as well as friendly dedicated to their business! Highly recommended!

We found this restaurant by chance as we were not local and we trusted the reviews. I would say that the choice was a good one. Although the place is outside the center of Monterosso we immediately felt at ease in a welcoming environment and by a friendly but never intrusive owner who knows how to do his job well. excellent quality raw materials, fast service and customer relations make all the difference in the world. I don't know if we will go back but I definitely recommend it to everyone or to anyone passing through the Cinque Terre. Five stars overall! ps: the collection of cans in the place is beautiful!

Excellent food and impeccable service. I was there with a friend of mine last week on our way to a wedding and we had a wonderful meal. I absolutely recommend the pasta with pesto (home-made), the mixed land and sea starter and the pear and chocolate cake. The owner was very nice and friendly and very professional. Absolutely recommended.

We verbleven in het klooster van Monterosso, de maaltijden deed ons vermoeden ook een beetje te spartaans aan. Een restaurant een paar kilometer hiervandaan bracht uitkomst. Lokale producten, met veel zorg bereid. Kortom heerlijk en dat voor zeer schappelijke prijzen. Alle voorgaande ervaringen kunnen we nog steeds onderschrijven. Inderdaad wel even van tevoren reserveren. Let op: zowel telefoon- en internetsignaal is in dit gebied erg slecht.

Locale semplice ma accogliente. Servizio rapido e gentile. Abbiamo provato solo piatti di pesce: ottimi! Ottima anche la torta di mele. Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo.

La Taverna del Metallo

27/12/2024: Excellent food, in a location that takes you back in time, 1600 AD, friendly staff.
26/12/2024: We were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere of this unusual place. The dishes reminded us of the beauty of Italian dishes. This memory dates from 3 years or more ago but on occasion I will return without hesitation during my next visit to La Spezia.
