Simply Wonderful! Excellent restaurant of traditional Apulian cuisine with a fantastic personal touch. Welcoming and kind environment. Staff ready to advise and propose the best dishes. An obligatory stop for anyone passing through Gioia del Colle.

Trattoria location, but 4.0. It is located in the historic center of Gioia, a few steps from the Norman-Swabian Castle. As soon as you are seated, after ordering a drink (water and house red) you are greeted with bread, focaccia and olives with lemon. Here, in a family and relaxed atmosphere, you can enjoy local cuisine, with truly genuine flavours. We started the journey with broad beans and chicory and an appetizer plate, consisting of DOP mozzarella, capocollo from Martina Franca, lupini (fritters) and sopatavi (pickles). Then two first courses to share: spaghettoni with pumpkin, dried tomato, sage and 'cazzati' (toasted) chickpeas and paccheri with white ragù, caciocavallo fondue and cardoncelli mushrooms (both delicious). Fair price for quality and service. If you are in the area, a visit to the Castle is highly recommended, and then a nice and relaxing stop in a Trattoria, to end the trip with excellent food, in a still authentic atmosphere. For us to return to try the second courses too. ❤️❤️

I ate at this restaurant last month and was pleasantly surprised. Traditional dishes with a touch of innovation and modernity. The flavors are appreciable but, at the same time, everything is very delicate and balanced. The room is welcoming and clean. The speed of the service and the kindness of the staff complete it. I can't wait to go back!
