We arrived at Zia Luciana by chance, with no idea what to expect. While driving, I didn't see any reviews or dishes. We called to reserve a table for two at 1:40 PM, with arrival in 10 minutes. "No problem," Zia Luciana told us, but she emphasized that she has a set menu, and if we choose, we're welcome. We're in Marmilla, and typical Sardinian dishes are a guarantee, so we'll settle. Are we going to settle, gentlemen?" But what about appetizers with top-quality products, simple but perfectly executed cooking, vegetables, local cured meats, and a must-try pecorino cheese? The first courses on today's menu are fregula with beef and pork sauce, the fregula expertly prepared by Aunt Luciana—we finished it all because it was so good and flavorful. Even better were the handmade ravioli filled with vegetables and unmistakably sheep's ricotta, topped with a fresh tomato sauce—10 out of 10....by this point, we were already full....but how could you not try the roast shank with potatoes? Nothing to say except recommend booking if you're passing through, because the quality/price ratio is excellent...oh, I forgot, don't forget to try the mandarinetto....Long live Aunt Luciana and her husband Gianni, who ensured impeccable service.

All delicious! If you want to eat the real Sardinian cuisine of the past you can't miss eating at Aunt Luciana's... Not to mention the super welcoming environment and her and Gianni's kindness. They pampered us as if we were at home. Fregola made by Aunt Luciana's golden hands with ragù and fresh vegetables, 10 and praise. Un pranzo che sa di casa – con Zia Luciana e Gianni Oggi è stato un ritorno speciale. Ho ritrovato Zia Luciana, una cuoca straordinaria, e il suo instancabile compagno Gianni: insieme sanno accoglierti con il cuore. Ho portato tutta la mia famiglia e abbiamo pranzato con piatti genuini, preparati con amore e passione autentica. Il calore familiare si respira in ogni dettaglio, in ogni gesto. Come se non bastasse, Zia Luciana mi ha anche regalato della fregola fatta da lei: un gesto che vale più di mille parole. Non è solo un pranzo, è un’esperienza che ti resta nel cuore.

Siamo capitato a Siddi per caso e siamo andati a mangiare da zia Luciana. Locale pulitissimo e accogliente, personale informale e gentile, cucina tradizionale ottima e consiglio caldamente la fregola fatta a mano da zia Luciana che è davvero ottima. Lo consiglio caldamente, torneremo !
