I stopped in Barumini, a tiny town, on my way to Su Nuraxi. I didn't have high expectations for the food, but it was a pleasant surprise.
I tried the Sardinian specialty, Malloreddus. The pasta had a slightly chewy texture (it would have been even better if it were a bit more springy), a savory sauce, and ground meat. Arugula provided a refreshing, slightly bitter touch.
The lady serving was very nice. The portions were generous, the food was delicious, and the price was reasonable.

I went yesterday, May 1st, for lunch.
I had the fish menu. Everything was excellent: the seafood salad, the fregola pasta with baby octopus and mussels, and the Carlofortina-style swordfish... excellent service, very friendly staff, and a beautiful location.

Today we were out and about with my partner and we found this place on our street, we decided to eat there, very friendly staff welcomed us and let us sit outside since it was a beautiful day, we had 2 starters, 2 first courses, side dishes and dessert all excellent, very generous portions, the bill was more than fair, I hope there will be another opportunity to eat there again

A very pleasant surprise in the heart of Barumini, with excellent service and a menu featuring a limited but high-quality selection. Excellent braised beef in Cannonau wine and excellent wild boar in wild asparagus sauce, all washed down with a fine Carignano. Definitely worth marking in your diary for when we visit this beautiful area again. ❤️

Really nice trattoria with patio outside. Nice menu including for the bambino. Family friendly and we had good assistance on translating all the food options.

Rustic location, Campidano style, very nice, very friendly staff, disappointed with the food, the first course had almost no taste, the pasta completely overcooked, the baked potatoes as a side dish were good, but would have been better without oregano, the dessert was good but very small in size, I should point out that the dish in the photo is not a dinner plate but a dessert plate.
