Restaurant in the historic heart of Pontremoli, with simple but fantastic cuisine. Mixed appetizer (salami, cheese, savory pie, chestnut and ricotta fritters), first course, dessert, wine and coffee for €30. Recommended testaroli with pesto, a must-try when passing through Lunigiana. Classic trattoria atmosphere, and atypical service that I appreciate so much.

Went here on the advice of our taxi driver. Very traditional with friendly service and drinkable carafe wine. Food was excellent antipasto, pasta and rabbit stew. We really enjoyed it. Small terrace overlooking the river.

It is located in Pontremoli, it is a typical trattoria located right in the city center, near the Duomo. The place was recommended to us by local people and we trusted it. The location is characteristic, the staff are friendly and the dishes are really very good. My husband and I both had the artichoke tortelli with walnut cream, the rabbit hunter style, a side dish of green beans and one of red radicchio, half a liter of red wine and a lemon sorbet. Nothing to complain about, the only discordant note is not having brought the menu with the prices and having had to discover the bill at the time of payment. Extremely wrong!

Welcoming environment, helpful, friendly and pleasant staff. Excellent quality dishes. Rich and abundant appetizer with local cheeses, salami, pancakes with chestnut flour and ricotta, savory pie and giardiniera. The testaroli are excellent, handmade according to tradition and seasoned with an excellent Genoese pesto and the artichoke ravioli with walnut pesto.
Excellent value for money.

We had lunch in this restaurant today, and I must say that I had a great time, very generous appetizers, cured meats, cheeses, ricotta, chestnut fritters, grass cake, mixed salad, giardiniera, testaroli with pesto, stewed rabbit with black olives, and for dessert, their specialty, I don't remember exactly the correct name, but they were sheets of wafers filled with a delicious cream with toasted hazelnuts, to conclude the sumptuous meal a excellent coffee, I forgot the house red wine, and the various still and sparkling waters, very attentive and courteous staff, the only flaw, the environment is a little tiny to hold 44 people, plus the local guests, but I highly recommend it, you will have a great time, a highly rated 5 stars.

Sarà che ci sono affezionata perché da sempre rappresenta la sosta per la cena al rientro dal sud quando sulla Cisa c'è troppo traffico, ma amo questa trattoria, i suoi testarli, le sue frittelle di castagne con la ricotta, il suo erbazzone e il suo coniglio alla cacciatora. Sempre frequentata, è un luogo epico dall'atmosfera immutabile

Il cartello all’ingresso avverte che non sono gradite le lamentele!! .. il locale è pieno (è anche uno dei pochi che non è chiuso per ferie), con noi la cagnolina e ci viene chiesto se vogliamo una sedia anche per lei, rifiutiamo ma il locale si aggiudica il nostro adesivo “amici degli animali”.
Iniziamo con l antipasto, che si aggiudica solo un 7/10 ci piace sia caratteristico della zona ma le frittelle di farina di castagne non sono ben lievitate ed anche il salame fa perdere punti.
I testaroli sono eccezionali peccato il pesto che non gradiamo ma qua siamo abituati a quello genovese!! Buoni anche i ravioli.
