The food and service were excellent. Among the appetizers, I particularly enjoyed the ricotta fritters. It's a shame I didn't get to try the horse meatballs, which weren't available the night I visited.

A very nice trattoria, the food is amazing, the fried ricotta and caponata are incredible. The dishes are truly generous, and the waiters are super kind and polite. The place is very nice in the summer, with the terrace overlooking the sea.

We went to this restaurant on a Saturday. The first thing I didn't like was the lack of convenient parking: to get there, you have to take a somewhat unusual route and park near other villas. The place itself didn't impress me either: neither the outside nor the inside is particularly welcoming. The waiters were almost too kind, almost exaggerated 😅. As for the food, I wasn't convinced by the appetizers: the portions are enormous, and if there's only two of us, it's difficult to finish them. The meatballs, both ricotta and beef, are too big and too dry, not really encouraging you to eat. Unfortunately, they don't even offer a starter menu with a bit of everything, which at least doesn't fill you up enough for the main course. The wine, on the other hand, was very good; we chose a local one. The main courses were definitely more satisfying: we had the rabbit and another dish whose name I don't remember, but they were both very tasty. Overall it's definitely a place worth trying, but I was so-so about the appetizers.

Good dinner, of course you wouldn't see supermarket cheeses and non-local ones in the starters of a Sicilian restaurant, the fried ricotta was excellent and the grilled meats were good... the service was a bit slow, but I'd say again

Posto molto accogliente, proprietario e personale molto affabili e cortesi. Cibo casalingo, di ottima qualità, esperienza nel complesso molto soddisfacente. Vino della casa non in linea con la qualità delle portate, questo, pur restando sul vino sfuso locale, è parecchio migliorabile

Went on the recommendation of our B&B host, he suggested we try the ricotta fritters and caponata as starters, and to ask the staff for dish of the day. We had the 2 recommended starters (divine) and 2 main courses and luckily we didn't order anything else because the portions are big. Everything was excellent. Highly recommended!
