A little corner of paradise for lovers of home-cooked food! The location is welcoming and the owners are super friendly, always ready to make you feel at home. They served us dreamy mushroom pappardelle, the platter and marinated vegetables were perfect, and the bread… well, you could eat tons of it! Not to be missed.

Trattoria N'Da Calata Zafferana is a great find—a local restaurant that offers good local food at excellent value near the Etna area. It's a bit hidden, but definitely worth seeking out for an authentic meal. The service was fast, friendly, and efficient, making for a pleasant dining experience. The main dishes we ordered (pasta and salad) were standard and good, but the real star of the show was the Fried Ricotta! As a ricotta lover, I was blown away by this specialty. They were perfectly prepared: crunchy and golden brown on the outside, with a wonderfully soft and rich ricotta filling inside. The portion is huge—you get six large pieces in one dish! It's ideal for sharing as an appetizer or could easily serve as a very satisfying main course. If you are dining here, you absolutely must order the fried ricotta. It’s a unique, delicious dish that elevates the entire meal and offers fantastic value.

We had the best food all across Sicily here. Amazing authentic cuisine with big portions and great prices. The staff is so lovely and friendly. We ate here twice it was so amazing. On Sundays make sure to make a reservation at lunch, this is italy. Great wine selection and the house wine is so fresh.

A decent trattoria, but nothing special... There are much better options nearby. They served us macaroni instead of casarecce! We're tourists, and we knew it... The owner and his son weren't very welcoming, and it's not cheap either. What a shame! I don't recommend it.

Food to die for. Top service. Owner very nice and tried his best to do our dinning experience not to forget. Horse meat very good. And desserts too.

Incredible food, great atmosphere and the staff were very friendly. Highly highly recommend. They dedicated to our six-year-old daughter and she also loved it.

We've been to this trattoria for lunch several times and have always been satisfied!!! The excellent quality food, unmistakable Sicilian flavors, and friendly staff make it definitely one of the best places to go if you want to eat well and taste good! Highly recommended!!!
