A simple but tidy and clean environment, punctual and fast service. We took the Tuscan platter, a nice platter with good quality ham, salami and cheese, also a plate of pappardelle with wild boar which was sublime and finally the plate of tagliolini with butter and anchovies; extraordinary. And what about the cantuccini with Ronchi Pinchi passito?. All quality raw materials.

Just one piece of advice: buy a bread with more personality, oil sandwiches are not good. for the croutons use fresh bread, not packaged ones 1 crouton with tomatoes is more appreciated as the stuff from the jars tastes of nothing, taste before bringing to the table, polenta is better a product with personality even if instant, the one you serve tastes of nothing and looks like a puree, the macaroni is good, the main courses are good, the desserts with a few updates could be a very good menu. Mine is just advice and not a criticism

It rarely happens that you find a place like this. I had dinner with my girlfriend, we ate the starter of cold cuts and cheeses, and then Florentine steak with potatoes. Everything was delicious, the steak was a no-brainer, the staff were friendly,
super kind and honest (they warned us that the choice would not be included in the fork discounts, which was not to be taken for granted). Even without discounts the bill was more than honest. I recommend this restaurant to everyone.
I give 5 stars because you can't do more.

Spaghettone di Gragnano con acciughe e muddica atturrata, inpreziosito da altri ingredienti della tradizione siciliana. Piatto degno di visita a questa Trattoria sulle colline toscane, lo Chef Riccardo Bonuccelli sarà lieto di proporvi la sua specialità.

Excellent value for money. We had really delicious macaroni with scottona ragù and a 1kg Florentine steak cooked well, good but not exceptional. Good, honest and drinkable house red wine. In total 84 euros. The welcome was good and the place met expectations. A simple trattoria.
I can't give a higher rating, because the place was cold. The stove had just been lit. The place filled up and everyone who entered asked to move near the stove.
The cutlery was frozen as were the plates for eating the first course. Luckily the dishes for the second course were hot. Some diners ate with their jackets on and we took turns getting up to stand in front of the stove.

Inizio col dire che questo ottimo ristorante non è raggiungibilissimo: bisogna sapere dov'è e prepararsi a un viaggio in collina (circa 20' da Montecatini).
Preciso però che il viaggio si ripaga abbondantemente!
L'ambiente interno è molto accogliente e il menu, pur non essendo vastissimi, comprende piatti della tradizione toscana rigorosamente fatti in casa. Questa volta abbiamo provato tordelli di patate e tagliata ai funghi porcini ma ogni ricetta è squisita.
Una menzione d'onore va alla grappa alla camomilla che non ho trovato da nessun altra parte...
