Great food Friendly and professional staff

A lovely traditional local restaurant. The atmosphere was lively and the staff were very proficient. I chose a plate of mixed sliced meat with mozzarella then the grilled fish of the day with potatoes, olives and a delicious sauce. A sideplate of mixed vegetables complemented the mains. To finish I chose the panna cota with strawberries; delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant and will visit when I'm again in Genoa.

Came here with friends, a place in a strategic position behind the Porto Antico and the Galeone, easily reachable by public transport and on foot. Paid parking in front in the aquarium silos. Genoese cuisine menu (pesto, walnut sauce, local dishes) and mainly fish (first courses with seafood, lobster, clams, very good fried second courses), varied offer. Also available for dinner, 18 euro menu or 30 euro fish menu. Dishes with generous portions and good, both first courses and second courses, side dishes. Desserts are below par compared to the rest. Fair price also considering the very touristy area. Unfortunately, the internal environment is very noisy, perhaps due to the acoustics of the place as well as a roaring extractor fan in the open kitchen, the fact is that it is difficult to hear who is sitting next to you due to the confusion. The furniture and environment are a bit shabby, paper tablecloths and napkins, lots of plastic around that immediately makes it look sloppy. It would take very little to improve this aspect of the place which is characteristic in itself. The most annoying thing for me was above all the smell that the soap used to wash the dishes had left on the plates and glasses: with every sip or bite a terrible whiff of poor quality detergent arrived which made you lose your appetite and nauseated, ruining the enjoyment of the dishes. I strongly recommend changing brands.

The restaurant offers affordable dining, and the portions are generous. However, the quality is mediocre (which can be explained by the low prices) compared to what can be found in the city.

Kindness, courtesy, excellent dishes

Trattoria near the port really nice, not very touristy and very homely. The trofie were super good, as was the seafood salad! All at a great price. Thanks to the waiter Pietro who served us, very kind. If I were to return to Genoa, I would go back.

Ci siamo arrivati per caso, dopo un giro all’acquario di Genova. Ci hanno accolto educatamente e fatti accomodare. Abbiamo preso una porzione di polpo e patate e del baccalà fritto, entrambi apprezzati. Poi dei discreti spaghetti alle vongole, delle buone trofie al pesto e dei pansoti ricotta e spinaci alla crema di noci, quasi annegati nella crema. Un pranzo rapido e discreto, con una differenza difficilmente percepibile tra posto per turisti o trattoria tipica. Conto corretto e personale gentile.
