The Genoese-style troffie were truly delicious, perfectly seasoned and with an authentic flavor. The portions are more than adequate, and the price is truly fair for what they offer. The service is friendly and fast, making the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! Oh!! And I love how the fries are cut... top!

Excellent trattoria in the city center, very close to the Expo. The food is fresh and cooked to order. You can choose from the à la carte or fixed menu. We chose the latter. A Genoese minestrone, saffron rice, swordfish with a side of vegetables, and salmon with salad, a bottle of water, and two desserts (not included in the fixed menu) for €43. Honest. The staff is friendly and fast. A welcoming place. Definitely recommended.

EXCELLENT value for money. Excellent food and generous portions at a more than fair price. We were a fairly large group and had booked for 2 pm, a time they had suggested directly due to the two sittings. We did indeed stay a bit longer, but it was a birthday party and they had been notified. The staff immediately seemed annoyed and eager to clear away the dishes immediately to bring the next ones... this was because the kitchen was closing. Unfortunately, we ate in a hurry and were anxious to finish, perhaps without enjoying the moment and the meal as we would have liked and should have. One of our friends couldn't eat anything, not because the food wasn't good, but because he wasn't feeling well at the time... even then, the waiter's joke about him barely touching his plate was avoidable. In short, I absolutely recommend eating at this trattoria because it's worth it, especially for the food, its abundance, and its quality... but if you're planning on eating slowly, perhaps avoid the 2 PM shift. I imagine, however, that they're swamped, especially on weekends, and finding a group of people sitting at a table past 4 PM, when you just want to finish everything and rest, is exhausting. However, at that point, they let you know in advance and set a time limit, so that those who book can choose another place or time if necessary. I'll end with a positive review, because we were all quite satisfied, and most importantly, we left with very full bellies. They offer fixed-price menus (one for €18 and the other seafood for €30) and an à la carte menu. Based on my experience, I recommend the spaghetti allo scoglio, which is truly excellent. The speed of service is also undeniable...perhaps too fast.

It's Olympics and medal season...this trattoria in the Old Port area, right across from the Aquarium's galleon, deserves a gold medal. Many people patiently wait their turn to dive into traditional Ligurian cuisine, featuring its most typical dishes in generous portions and truly excellent craftsmanship—delicious! Despite the crowds, the service is incredibly fast, friendly, and attentive to detail. The prices are very reasonable; in a restaurant world where it's increasingly difficult to indulge in the pleasure of a meal out, it's a pleasure to see that there are still places like this, accessible to everyone and of excellent quality!!! Thank you for your hospitality and many, many compliments to EVERYONE!!!

A typical trattoria. Just steps from Piazza Caricamento and the old port. You'll find typical Genoese dishes (from trofie with pesto to stewed baby octopus, from pansotti with walnut sauce to sacripantina) as well as tourist-style dishes. Fair prices and generous portions. The waiter is exceptionally helpful and courteous. We'll be back.

The sea bream isn't fresh, and it's kept in a cold place. The rest is top-notch!
